  • Back in the 80s you should have seen how footy players used to carry on in places like St George Leagues Club (they used to pick a fight with regular patrons, some of the Dragons wankers), Trevor Gilmeister actually pissed on my shoe as he was trying to stay upright at the mens urinal explaining to me how some chick wanted to talk to me at Bobby McGees on Friday night....then came at bought a rose for her as we chatted...he was pissed outta his brain, but very funny. The Panthers boys used to frequent Studebakers as well as the Broncos lads and would go round randomly tackling each other and buying shots for people who they happened to offend...all good fun. I have seen heaps of footy players at the races smashed. It is what they do, they are rock star athletes...good on 'em. You only live ONCE...enjoy. I did when I was young and got smashed and had a great time kickin around and sometimes getting up to no good...fark I turned out relatively OK. Lighten up countess.

    • If footballers got up to what the crickets got up in the 70's then nothing surprises me.

          • Like many on here have said, I don't care what the boys do after a game. If it was before a game then I would.
These are young guys, they are allowed to have some fun. They didn't break the law, abuse anyone, damage property or rape any women so who cares what they do.

Just let it go man, trust me.
That just about sums up where the Count needs to go with this on a public forum but interestingly the vilification is nothing compared to what everyone on here has seen between some members.
We are so passionate about launching into each other yet the root cause of some (taken at his word) behaviour after a game seems to not get addressed ever.
I too have had a gutful of ill-discipline but you have to balance it out so they are not robots but hey that’s what the coach is for right?

If I got paid 200K or more a year to play footy for the Roosters I would think of nothing else.

That is only part of the reason.
We have witnessed generational change over the last decade that has seen old fashioned discipline is being replaced by over confident youth that expects everything right now for limited input.
You see it in the workplace and on the sporting field.
Maybe the egos are too hard to break into these days for some coaches and stuff like this can go unchecked from time to time.
Taylor might be our answer after all.

I live in Brisbane, and spend most weekends watching the Broncs haveing some fun. Fancy 20 year old blokes getting on the piss.
Sure... but where are we compared to them on the ladder?

I think not. His own record is not good whether he is at the cricket or end of season gathering!

I hope the chick chose to route you over Gilly. I find all men repolsive but when I see Gilly I just feel like vomiting.

                    • BTW Count....next time you see JWH in public, go and say hi, he more than likely will be happy to stand there for half and hour with you and chat footy. I've seen him out a few times and he is so friendly and very happy to meet fans and talk footy.
It's a shame you felt the need to come on here and rubbish him. If you knew the bloke you would not dare rubbish him cause you'd realise he was a great bloke.
Now go back underneath the rock you've crawled out from under,,,,,,

Fighting to stay in the 8, and the other near the spoon. This tells me the Broncs players should be tucked up in bed like the count says.

JWH also moves to Nth Sydney so he can stay away from teh Eastern Suburbs scene and focus on his footy. The bloke isnt as dumb as some think. I often see him riding his bike and walking the dog in Cammeray or Nth Sydney.

its ok for you to go and support the team with your pensioners card at the odd home game and watch on tele when its too cold and drown your sorrows away but i actually give a sh1t about this club and sh1tcu*nts like you should support the dogs because that is what you are.

i would rather someone who wants a shot at being the best they can be not a player who is content with sitting on the bottom of the ladder and not playing finals footy

p.s. that 'ret@rded fullback' is one of the club greats. show some respect you fu**wit
Mr Pure Platinum with his $500 bucks a year. Youre a ****wit. Ive put 20 times what you have financially into this club in the past 15 years. Admittedly not a ****ing cent since 2005. Because of the ****ed way the club is being managed.

But you keep putting your dole cheque into your platinum membership and enjoy the complimentary colour poster of our illustrious fullback on your bedroom ceiling.

                            Cock.

I haven't drank for twice that but I don't begrudge anyone who does. Name your top 20 league players. I'll guarantee they were all drunks.

Our players aren't playing badly because they drink 1 day a week. If they were then all the clubs in the comp would be playing terrible. They are playing badly because we have a shit coach, zero leadership on the field and the worst spine in the business.

You know to keep them busy and off the streets.
What I propose is a knitting club, so when the youngsters are not training and playing with each other.......opps!
did I say that? noughty me, I mean, oh does'nt matter.
Anyway we'll get together twice a week and do some loveley scarves, and during the summer we'll do it three times a week.

Oh! and Dont tell Kosmo will you, I've snuck in on his computer while he is over at Jerry's place.

This is Mrs Kramer signing off.
