Well they weren't breaking any laws, were they? It was a Sunday night, which is the only night of the week they can let their hair down, as they would've had to read 0.0 alcohol at recovery on Sunday morning after the game. They are 20 something year olds! It doesn't worry me too much that they are skylarking on their night off, if they were late for training this morning they will be punished or dropped, so I'm prepared to cop them some slack. More concerning have been reports over the years about piss ups the night before a game!

i completely understand all of that.. but what i dont understand is when you are a professional and you are given the opportunity which some would kill for to play for the ONLY foundation club that has played EVERY year since rugby leagues inception, why would you not do everything in your power to be the best that you can be, not only for yourself but your team mates and the fans who pay money to see you play at your best.

thats my rant and where i am angling from...

not every player looks after themselves like fitzy used to, but look what he accomplised. he is the highest pointscoring forward of all time and he used to bust his backside for 80 mins until he could breathe out of his a%shole

Apparently, if you listen to some on here, there was not alot of truth to the team's abstention! Specifically the night before we played the Dogs, it was Jnr Jnr's 21st party, apparently some very, very pissed players at that party, next day we were smashed by about 60 points!!
