    3.Moga
    4.SKD
    5.Mini
    6.Kheirallah
    7.Pearce

    14. Aubo
    15. Evans
    16. Arona
    17. Mortimer

why waste my breath when the side is going to be:

1 Anthony Minichiello, 2 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, 3 Joseph Leilua, 4 Shaun Kenny-Dowall, 5 Tautau Moga, 6 Braith Anasta [c], 7 Mitchell Pearce, 8 Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, 9 Jake Friend, 10 Frank Paul Nuuausala, 11 Brad Takairangi, 12 Mitchell Aubusson, 13 Boyd Cordner. Subs: 14 Daniel Mortimer, 15 Tinirau Arona, 16 Martin Kennedy, 17 Jack Bosden.
Gone for the year with a leg injury, not a back injury as has been reported.
Therefore, Moga to his rightful position in the centres. RTS @ fullback, Henry & Mini on the wings.

I will do an obscenely biological forfeit if that happens.

Sorry Dubai, can't say I agree that it was great move by Smith. Fact is, he has no idea what he's doing at the moment. To quote a line from Monty Pythons' Life of Brian - "he's making it up as he goes along..". All that changing Mini & Sheck proved is that he'd run out of ideas - I didn't see the last 20 minutes as I'd turned off in disgust. Fact is that if we're looking forward to next season Anasta should have been dropped months ago. Whilst I accept Mini is past his best, I find it disgraceful that Smith sees fit to move Mini mid game but not put off Anasta. I can't work out what the hell is going anymore and quite frankly I can see next season is already down the gurgler if Smith is still here. What the solution is though I have no idea and i suspect the club doesn't have any idea either.

Braith got pulled off only about a month ago when he was having an absolute terrible game. Alot of coaches do it if a player just can't get it right...
Braith didn't even turn up to the press report after that game.

Anasta got replaced quite late in the slaughter by Manly.....but has been picked every week since despite us having hardly won a game. The other thing is that when we do win a game (which is not very often) Smith changes the team the week after...usually blokes who did alright

Reading this comment from Scheck led me to write this

"I was pretty shocked," Tuivasa-Sheck revealed.

"I looked at 'Mini' and said, 'Are we really swapping' and he said, 'Yep have a go'.

It just sounds like he had no idea it was happening and just got thrown in,surely Smith wouldve warned him before the game.

How could Smith warn him before the game about it, his left hand doesn't know what his right hand is doing. Any decent coach would have been blooding RTS into the role all year at training with the first team not in opposed sessions. I can remember Joey talking about Mullen when he was training with the first grade squad. He said he would grab Mullen at certain stages of opposed sessions and make him play with the first team so when ever the time came it would not be a shock to him.

Yeah against each other. I wonder if Smith had the nouce to put Sheck in an opposed session with the bulk of the game day team or just with the blokes who head back to Newtown

A bit like in under 7's... I have a better idea though, give Mini the water bottle instead and he can just hang out the back with RTS.. I hate the idea of Mini playing on the Wing just to keep him in the team.

there was only about 5 minutes to go in that match.. In fact when he ran off the field was probably the only time he broke a sweat.

I'll be fair... while Mini was absolute rubbish on the weekend (reminded me of the GF against the Riff... conditions really seem to hurt his form!) Mini has been great all season.

Yes, Ben Barba, GI, Dugan (although he'll be 5/8 this weekend?), Slater...etc are all better than Mini, but he's got experience and has had a good season. Defensively he's still better than Sheck (when he isn't fumbling balls and playing like poo.)

In the long-term Sheck will be better. That jerk tipster at the start of the season who said we'd do no better than 11th this season was correct when he said "Mini's not good enough to be a fullback. Neither's Perrett, but I'd much prefer to see him playing fullback than Mini..."

Mini has been horrific for the last 4 months bar one good performance.. It is clearly time for him to retire.

its the best weve had ALL year, IMO.
rts should be at fullback however.
moga is a LEFT CENTRE, and should play there, which he finally is.
henry is a RIGHT CENTRE, and i dont understand why hes been playing on the left wing. right wing will do, and i reckon hell go well if it stays dry.
with oldfield coming next year, hopefully, HOPEFULLY, the backline looks a bit like rts, olfield, moga, skd, henry. maloney and pearce in the halves.

As much as I like the Roosters youth policy I think they have brought players on to quick. If next year your backline consists of RTS Moga BJ Henry SKD Maloney & Pearce I really cant see them competing with the good sides. It is still way to young & inexperienced.

Firstly there are to many Islanders & Secondly Maloney is not going to be this instant saviour. We will still have Pearce Friend & Mini in key position with the same dud coach. Sticking with the players we have now realistically wont get results for at least 5 years.

You've said his had a great season twice but haven't really explained how he's had a good season.

Unfortunately mate he's fumbled a shitload of balls in the past 10 weeks
