There is just something so wrong with the club that this question is being asked.

As a supporter fan member I dont know what go's on within the club but for me to see Anansta get picked every week & retain the captaincy just isnt right.

You hear Smith wanted to get rid of Anasta 2 years ago but Nick wanted to keep him, who knows if this is true? But say it was true, how could a man like Nick think that no matter what Anastas form is like he still gets picked & he is captain & that it benifits the team. If someone answers because Nick has an ego & he can do that, well than guys seriously the club is in real trouble.
If it is not true & Nick doesnt have a deal with Nick then Smith is an incompetent coach who is just running the team into the ground & nobody seems to be doing anything about it, other than calling for his head hear on the chookpen.

The club is in a terrible position.
I believe we have 2 weak coaches who Nick has final say over. There is NO way Bellamy will come to the Roosters, you have to be a softcock & get the final say from a business man who makes private handshake deals with players.

To be honest Ray, at the time I really didn't look at what I wrote in defending our rabble. I will admit I'm over defending the majority of our players after their performances this season. They have died in the arse more times than not. And I'm not convinced it's because they're lacking talent, but I am convinced they are lacking commitment.

It was more of a sarcastic comment than anything else and I didn't expect a response. Just because we have lost to both Penrith and Parra doesn't mean we deserve the spoon. We deserve the spoon only if we don't win more games than they do. It doesn't matter who you do or don't lose to, but the amount of times you lose that count. Would it make you feel better if we had won against Manly, Storm & Broncs but still had the same number of wins?

I actually got to see the fabled Brian Smith (the other one) for the first time.

One thing that made me laugh was Sterlo saying Jason Hudson was a Roosters player of the future.

I watched quite a bit of that game last night, I really don't know what I was up to in 1994, but for the life of me I only recognised/remembered Salvo & Silva from that team, bloody hell Salvo was a bright light in a dark pit of average FG footballers that was Easts circa 1994, he was built like a brick outhouse & ran like a centre, fantastic footwork & ball skills, we could sure use him today!
