Potato Pitato mate. I want the spoon because the players deserve it. It would be a shame to see them put in such limp efforts and not have it hung around their necks for the next 12 months. And it would be fitting knowing captain crapasta will be the last to captain us to one in our lifetime (hopefully).

What is interesting to note is that this year we went into the season with the same "halves" pairing that won us the spoon in 2009.

Why anyone would expect us to do any better is beyond me.

Braith "the next freddy" Crapasta, who doesn't even deserve to clean freddy's underwear, and Mitchell "still the next big thing......." Pearce. For mine, when Anasta had a falling out with fittler, that was when we should had pissed him off.

Pearce is this generation's Kimmorley. A good player who tries hard in a few games every now and then, but that is as far as it goes. He has no third dimension to his attack like a Thurston, Foran, Dce, Marshall etc.
In the big games (origin, Finals) he goes missing.
