Wow, I think I've just uncovered our biggest problem. 6 tries and "many goals" and we still only get 24. We're mathmatically inept !!

I know we go all right most times against Parra but the Hindmarsh retirement & the playing for Ricky may get them over the line.

If the Roosters can just find some sort of consistency I suppose they are a chance.
Relax Mate. Hindy was also retiring last week and Ricky was also watching last week. They leaked 51 against a rubbish time.

We will win and we'll win easy. My fave game of the year. We always do well. It's in my backyard, I get to watch the Chooks put 30 or 40 on Parra and then it's off to Parra Leagues to get in a few arguments with pissed idiots. 2010 post game up at Sterlos comes to mind: Drunk idiot female Parra fan says to me "I've already got my Grand Final tickets" her husband/boyfriend then offers to sell them to me while she's in the loo...ah, ya gotta love Parra. Go Easts.

That did not go according to plan. The positives are our youth, the fact that most of the ones we wanted to keep we have, a new halves combo and a dim hope that the coach won't be there by the end of next year. The downside is that this year is a joke, again. We only have a couple of years to be serious contenders or our CEO will be back on the gate at Orana Park. I hope.

P.S. This time there were no arguments at the club. When told we were crap I fully agreed.

I dont know why I was worried we were playing the team coming last who are being coached by a rookie coach with 2 games experience, who also had there best player out (Hayne) which means they had a stand in FB plus there regular No 9 is out meaning another rookie was playing in there spine, making them the most inexperienced in the comp. It's a no brainer of course we will win.

Reality, the whole club has NO SPIRIT or SOUL.
I know it sounds cheesy or maybe even religious which it is not meant to sound but I am telling you the club has NO SPIRIT.

IMO you have to have a coach who has a burning desire to want to have his team being the best. If the coach wants to have the best team he will go to extreme lengths to get his team there. Bellamy Hasler Bennett Stuart.
It has to start with the coach, the coach has to WANT to win more than the players & then it is up to him to get them to want it that bad. You then have the players really wanting to win for the coach which is great for the team, it then breeds spirit within the club.

Can't agree with you on Smith with this point. He does want to win as much as any coach. Why else would he text players all the time and play mind games with them (allegedly). It is his methods which perhaps are his downfall but I don't doubt for one minute that he wants to win as much as the next coach.
