He said something along the lines of "I'm not sure what I'll be doing in 12 months". I found this quite interesting as his agreement with Penrith must be ending by then. I'm not one to read too much into things but I did find this a curious thing for him to say. Thoughts?

It was even more curious to see both interviews.
On channel 10 he was cool and calm because whoever was interviewing him wasn’t pushing any buttons and Gould calmly said that “who knows what will happen in 12 months” but I have no intention of doing Origin because I am too busy committed to Penrith.
However the interview with Weilder on 9 got Gould rattled because Weilder was like a dog with a bone and would not shut up about Origin.
Gould then admitted that he did not know where he would be in 12 months and actually looked genuinely perplexed but was clearly upset at the persistence.
Penrith may be a bigger basket case than he thought when taking on the job.
He certainly is starting to look like one.

I agree, something is in the air, also I noticed the Telegraph are still trolling here for story lines, over a week or so ago, I suggest Maloney for captain, and Cordner to be groomed to take over from him, and lo and behold in the Tele this morning, the story almost verbatim to my post, amazing that.

i was at a BBQ the other day and had a beers with a senior parra official a few things he told me:
Parra will be signing Bird and also Falou will be joining them in 2014, they are also very confident in signing Thurston. They were also in talks with Bellamy and Gus originally but both are committed to their current contracts. He said that Gus will be back at the Roosters in 2014 and that SBW will be at the Roosters for 1 year followed by second stint at Panasonic then returning to the Roosters for another year.

Stating the bleeding obvious on TV is lot different to coaching.
Chook.
