he cant handle a lot of the drink (raiders)
he cant handle no drink (roosters)
he cant handle a little bit of drink (sharks)

      pearce 9?
football-wise that would be one lethal combination.. especially with SBW, moga and RTS in the team

id have seluini off the bench. although friend tackles his arse off, he isnt the creative hooker we need. cordner should take over as tackling machine. pearce goes to 9 and we win the premiership!
          oh the hypertheticals.

They punted the wrong bloke in the first place. I'd have Carney back any day. Who cares if he likes a drink, who cares if he mucks up, as long as he does nothing illegal it's a non-event in my book. They should have told Anasta and Smith to pack there bags last year not Toddy. For once Uncle Nick should have interfered and put his foot down and stuck with his little project, the resurrection of T.Carney.
The media just love dragging first graders down. Who doesn't like a few beers after a hard days work?

                6 Carney
                7 Pearce

I'd be all for it, except, 1) Maloney is coming, and 2) Carney is a ****wit who can't keep out of trouble and will drag this club through the mud.

                So, no thanks to Toddo

I don't. There are those of us that haven't convinced ourselves that alcohol is a necessary part of life. Todd put alcohol ahead of the club. DUI. Telling everyone that he would stop drinking, then gets injured, says rather than watching the game he'll go to to Goulburn to visit family and instead gets on the piss with Anthony Watts. Tells everyone that he'll stop drinking. Agrees to a players alcohol ban, then goes out drinking with Nate and FPN. All Todd had to do was put the club before alcohol, yet he doesn't and keeps ****ing up, dragging the club through the mud. But you can go ahead and want Smithy to go so you can keep making excuses for Toddy

Hear hear! Not everyone worships alcohol... I respect the right for people drink as long as they obey the law and respect community standards when they do. I was drunk is not an excuse that I accept for bad behavior. Don't forget the prescription pills incident with Watts either.

Come on Comrade lighten up champ, you don't drink, that's your choice not everyone sees it like you do. I myself along with other weak minded individuals do like a drink with my mates. The bloke proved he could behave and control himself.Everyone at the club should have known that it wasn't going to be easy to try and help this kid get his life back on track. We took a punt and in my opinion we took the soft option. If you are going to sign someone with a chequered past then be prepared for some bumps along the way. FPN didn't get the sack and he broke the rules too but he played the following week after the final incident. Like I said they took a risk and offered to help the bloke but sign another bloke with a shady past in Watts aswell. Todd got injured wasn't playing had a hiccup and it all snowballed from there then the media pretty much ran the bloke out of dodge. This is my opinion and mate I'm allowed to have one if you don't agree that's fine by me

                          lets see.
1 year as one of the best players in the comp.
1 year as possibly the worst.
Can't handle the drink and won't leave it alone.
Doesn't just love a drink, but is an absolute eff wit when on it.
Targeted by the media while at the Roosters, protected while at the Sharks.

Doesn't add up to much is you ask me, oh but I forgot the clincher ....
Doesn't give a flying f#$k about anything or anyone but himself.

Piss him off he isn't the messiah of anything just a big mess of everything

correct me if im wrong but dont they only test you when you have played.

todd had some time off from playing after ori9in. so was he avoiding being tested .

so maybe not all injuries are real just a way to avoid the drug tests............the mind ponders.i hope they dont test brian smith

todds the nrl version of ben cousins

you call breaking alcohol bans and getting DUIed is proving that Toddy could behave himself? And FPN didn't get the sack as he owned up to his mistakes rather than shirk responsibility like Myles and Toddy
