FAZ, is trying to ascertain if the other young Bullodog bloke (Mammary) has signed too.
Jokotama signed more recently.
As i have said before, both played for the junior league club I am involved with and I know them personally. At this stage Mitchell would be ahead in his development having played as a starting prop in the dogs SG Ball team and recieving 5 MOM awards from 8 games. He also won the dogs best and fairest at their awards night. He then played a number of Bundy Cup games towards the end of the season chosing to play at that level instead of under 19's. Jokotama played off the bench in the dogs SG Ball team.

would also take Sam Williams from the Raiders, with Campese back next year and McCrone already established he might be relegated back to QLD cup.

Roger Tuivasa Sheck will do me for a 5/8 projectQUOTE=roz;252777]I agree. Maloney is good but he is late 20s so we could do with a project. Milford is very impressive. The raiders have a glut of talented young halves (williams, cornish, milford, wighton, campese, mccrone). My pick is Wighton. Can play centres for the next few years and establish himself in firsts before shifting to 5/8. There is a lot of fittler about the way he plays - tough, ruggered, physical but extremely skillful and slick[/QUOTE]

Spoke to someone who's close to the club today and he reckons the club have got massive wraps on him (Mitch Mamary). Signed a 3 year contract, 3rd year will see him in the top 25 squad which is a pretty big wrap for an Under 20's player.

IMO Canberra will be the next Storm in 3-4 years. Why? Storm started building in 03 when they got rid of Chris Anderson and got Bellyache and picked talented youngsters outta Qld Cup such as Smith, Slater, Cronk etc and got guys from NSW district sides such as Hoffman etc and got unwanted players from other clubs such as Quinn and Newton at the Knights and Hinchcliffe from Raiders. Tehy soon formed a powerhouse.
Canberra on the other hand dont have ot do what Storm did as they are already based in a RL area and have juniors at their disposal. They already have promising young guns like Cornish, Milford, McIllwrick, Wighton, Robinson and have got guys from Qld such as Papalii, Lee, Mataora but did buy guys like Earl and Ferguson. Canberra have the most talented crop of youngsters. The only thing holding them back is their coach Furner and the fact they have no good hooker until McIllwrick develops. I tihnk they have taken a big step as they now have great halves os it doesnt really affect them if Campese is injured.
