      Hi Easts,

Dave Barnhill came through Canberra Raiders didn't he or was it Illawarra Steelers?

      Who am I...

I played first grade for the Roosters in the 1990's. I also had an off field career starring in home movies. You might still find a copy at a garage sake.

              I'll give it a go

Rugby international (played with Randwick), played two years with Easts in the 80's, position was in the backline.
Had stints with two other sydney league sides.

..I knew if I kept it vague enough, he would be the first guess.

I remember. Little fella. Touted as a huge signing at the time but didn't really cut it in league, probably played more reserve grade than firsts. A Ron Jones special.

                              had a monster step !
Scored one sensational individual try at the sports ground with two huge left foot steps.
Had a brief stint with souffs on the wing ...can remember him winning a couple of games for the vermin with field goals.
