Jay Carney is the current White House Press Secretary.

He replaced Robert Gibbs, who in turn was after Dana Perino, who was George W Bush's second press secretary.

Agreed. He is obviously a Kiwi, and thats who he should play for.

SOO is great, but we need a strong international game as well. If the Kiwis continue to improve at the current rate, the international game may return as the pinnacle of rugby league, and there wouldn't be such a strong focus on SOO.

I would love for Tests to generate the same interest and rivalry as other trans-tasman sports.

Besides, NSW have some great juniors coming through. In the current junior teams, NSW is outperforming QLD. QLD's days are numbered.

So if I were Gus/Sticky/Freddy/Barrett/Bob Fulton/Loz, I would be on the phone straight away to RTS trying to get him play for NSW Blues.
Who gives a farrk about origin?!

If I had it my way no rooster would play origin.

I'd give Queerland every single one of NSW's shields for a 1chooks premiership!

Unfortunantly it won't stop QLD who will play anyone good enough not mattering where they are from, if they can play Inglis then we can go after him.

RTS for Origin? Geez, he's lived in Aus, let alone NSW, for less than 12 months and was born, bred and spent the first 18 odd years of his life in NZ.

He didn't even attend school in Aus, which at least Tamou can claim to have done.

There is no way RTS should ever be considered for SOO. He is a born and bred Kiwi and that's it!

I think Mini will be on the wing with RTS at fullback. I believe Mini isn't happy an doesnt want to play out his last year on the wing. He may go to France or play on the wing.

The only way RTS is going to play fullback is if Mini decides to leave a year early or Smith and the board get the punt simple as that.
Have always been a mini fan and always will be but sadly he has gone on 1 year too long in the nrl. Could have chased a sweet deal in super league last year.

There was talk earlier this year of a state of origin game for Kiwis. Great idea. If the NRL was fair dinkum they would get it done, holding both (Aussie and NZ) origin games on a weekend and suspending the NRL for those matches. Clubs would not be missing superstars, the Kiwi players would get an origin of their own and you could maybe play a decider between the two victorious sides after the GF. The footy season would be extended for three weeks. I doubt many would have a problem with that. Besides the GF, Origin is the only League game that will sell-out Homebush stadium. It deserves to stand alone. Jam it right up the AFL and it will ease the eligibility issues. We gotta be careful though because there are many Australian born Moaris, Samoans and Tongans coming through. They should obviously be eligible for NSW or QLD.

Mini has given us many excellent years of service ( excepting injuries). The least the club can do is give him one back. RTS need more First Grade experience before we move him to the pressure of Fullback

You could argue this year was that one back.

Just on the Mini criticism...I think im out on a limb here with other forum posters but I believe he has been one of our best this year.

Being a "reward for effort" kind of person when assessing who should be in the top squad, I see Mini having another year in him.

Move him to the wing by all means but I still think he can add value to the top squad.
Mini touches the ball almost more than any other player in the team bar Friend and maybe Pearce.. If he was going so well we would surely not be running 14th. I tend to think the players who are most involved in getting their hands on the ball are a part of why we are not doing so well.. I will add that Peace is pushing shit up hill as the only play maker in the team.
