There's quite a few offenders that frequent every single Easts event possible and to be honest the players find it a bit laughable and embarressing.

Each to their own I guess.
When you look at it that way, there is not much difference then going to watch these players at the stadium, glorifying them when they win games and cursing them when they lose, buying merchandise and spending money on memorabilia. then coming on a forum to talk about a team that realistically means nothing in the scheme of things of real life.

Ive been to one yrs back with my wife and it was just something different to do. harsh to bag individuals for attending fan days when you seem to show the same "sadness" by spending time on these forums and following the chooks in general, other people would call that sad?

Maybe these players are just too stupid to understand that without these fans they may have actually had to go out and get a real job.

Why do you not consider a professional athlete to be a real job ?

No Dipshit, the fact of the matter is he saw the Islander boys sitting down, do you know the bloke, do you know what time he seen them ????

Get off your farken high horse, my Poly mate is next to me laughing his arse off at the crap you are going on with.

            Go hug a tree moron.

As for Pearce his kicking game was crap, his creativity was crap, his defence was fair, but he did what Mini cant do and backed up well and held onto the ball 3 times ( maybe he should play fullback) for 3 good tries, but i guess no-one else had a hand in those tries.

As a parting shot my Poly friend would like to send a message to you princesses

                            About the BBQ.

I went & took my young fella along. I guess there would have been about 500 people there with a BBQ (burgers & snags), jumping castle, face painting, pass the ball competition & street performers. My little fella won a bag of marshmellows & a Roosters hat in the pass the ball comp - Kane Evans was one of the boys running it.

All the first graders and a number of fringe players (Henry, Tupou, Ailaomai, Carney, Mortimer, Bosden) were there as well - the only absentee was Guerra which is understandable. My son & I lined up so he could get his footy cards signed as well as a poster. Tuivasa-Sheck and Moga were quite friendly as were Kennedy, Aubusson, Cordner, SKD, JWH & Mose. In fact they were all pretty good with the kids. The only players he didn't get were FPN & Braith. Neither of those two seemed that interested in being there and Braith was the first to up & leave. Brian Smith was also at a table signing autographs.

We stayed until the end & the last players I saw signing were RTS, Moga, Henry, SKD, JWH, Pearce, Friend & Cordner.

I was disappointed with the way the set-up to get autographs was done. The players sat at long tables with barricades between so that you could not just move along the line of tables. For some completely fuqed reason the organisers had you line up in individual lines for each table. So basically you'd line up for ages, get the 4 or 5 players on the table to sign then have to go the the end of the line for the next table and so on. Of course you had scumbags pushing in & it became a shit fight.

It would have been so much more enjoyable & sensible if they just had the one long snaking line moving along the tables.

Bumped into Horry and his beautifuil wife and lovely family as well. Great guy and punching well above his weight when it comes to his wife !!!
