I think one of the biggest mistakes was in letting both Ryles and Miles go. The pack has lacked an experienced hard head. Miles had to go, so, in hindsight, Ryles was probably worth keeping.

Next year they'll be much wiser for the experience and, with the addition of the Williams boy, they should play a lot tougher.

Full credit to them last night they played well. Other times they have played well also, just not for 80 minutes. Yeah, what could have been.

The games against the Warriors in NZ, Penrith and the Gold Coast as well you could add to the list. It's a real shame because the team should be still challenging for at least 8th spot. The only solace I've got from this season is RTS and Boyd Cordner.

2013 cannot come soon enough. It's going to be a long off season.

We are about where we should be on the table. We have never really looked the part against the better sides except souths and our for and against is rubbish. The games we threw away are offset by some lucky wins early on.

Having said that the potential is huge. It's a bit like the Aussie cricket side of the 80s. Blooding a lot of young guys, short term pain for long term gain.

The next few years should be pretty good.
