RTS is promising but not ready for the gig full time yet.

As for Moga, I reckon he's a bludger. Needs to show much more urgency.

      Agree on both counts.

What is it with Moga and his sulky attitude? Looks like his kinda pissed that everyone else isn't up to his standards. Way too much tude for someone who's only played a handful of games.

I can see potential, like many of us including Gus, but its way to early to put him in FB. The season is over for us so just let the guy get his experience on the wing and then move on. I agree here with Brain...Putting him now in such a crucial position at this level can cause more harm than good. How often have we had some youngster or Jets player killing it and then coming to first, having a few good games and then fading away?
I will say this again, that 'fumble' in goals by RTS and then recovering to get away from the opposition reminded me like our own Benny Barba.

While he is clearly not the great player he once was, he doesn't deserve the crap some of you losers dish out on him.
Im with you on this one CHEST COUNTY .... He deserves the spot until he retires and TBH on this years form he is still one of the top fullbacks in the comp.

His reading of plays may not be the best and either may his options. BUT he can catch a ball as good as any FB in the game and is in the top 5 for running metres this year in the NRL.

I dont think he has done enough injustice for people to want him moved.

Sheck is going to be a freak one day. And so is Moga when he is allowed to grow into his natural position of Centre ... I say Leilua to the wing.

Glad you mentioned Barba. He was thrown in the deep end early in his career and was allowed to learn from his mistakes. I'm not saying just throw RTS to fullback because I still believe Mini will be here next year and the skipper so let him play on the wing and if we are leading comfortably in the 2nd half swap with mini and ease him into the fullback role. The best way to learn is to make mistakes, identify where you went wrong and address the problem. Barba couldn't and wouldn't even attempt to take a high ball last year but look at him now, he attacks the high ball. RTS is going to make mistakes I only hope we have the right people in charge who can help him not hinder him

I agree about Moga especially some of his defense he seems scared to put a hit on and I've noticed he jumper grabs a lot we need someone to unlock the kids brain cause he could become unstoppable maybe I'm being a bit hard on him he is only 18 and probably still adjusting to playing with men.

For those already pushing RTS to fullback using Ben Barba as an example, don't forget Barba had a season or two as a bench player to acclimatise him to the NRL before he was shifted to the No.1 when Patton finally left.
I think a full season on the wing would have him much better equipped to handle the No.1 spot when he is eventually moved to the custodian role after Mini retires next year.

Well I used Barba as an example but for the future, not now or even next year. RTS has to grow into the role at this level otherwise it'll be a disaster if he's given the responsibilty. Mini has his moments but he's the best one we have at the moment.

Moga is just a quiet kid, that's just his personality... I'm no psychiatrist but I reckon people are reading way too much into it.

I also don't think his lack of work rate is not down to not wanting to get involved just that he struggles to get involved, Inglis had the same issue when he was in the 3/4's. Kids who come through the juniors dominating every time they touch the ball never really get used to coming up with big workloads, he's on record as saying he only every really tried when the team needed to him in the juniors. It's just not something that comes as first nature to him..

This. He's our only link to an era when we weren't a bunch of headless chooks. He deserves more respect.
