Mortimer has been playing well for Newtown and I dont really think he has done anything bad in his 1st grade games .... At least he is trying unlike Anasta, and he has a nack for hitting holes and supporting.

Something our other players dont do.

There is no benefit in Anasta playing any longer.

SKD at fullback? Interesting.....don't know that he has the fitness to play there given the style of game a fullback plays these days. Mortimer...? How's he been going for Newtown? Why do we need three guys rotating at dummy half, two is ample. I can't see the point in changing the team just for the sake of it. If the guys you want to bring in are playing better than those ahead of them then they deserve their spot otherwise its change simply for the sake of making a change.

Two problems. He is not safe under a bomb. His ball security is awful. If the defence gets up to him really quickly and he has little support, and drops the ball, we're in strife!

Also I can't understand the support for Mortimer on here. He is average at best.

Jake Friend is average at best & every team get there big forwards to run at him & thats why he does 50 tackles a game.
The Roosters need to let Seluini play for 80 minutes & forget about Friend & Mortimer.
