Happens in the afl, top teams only play the GWS,Melbourne and Gold Coast twice were as teams like crows and Sydney who did no good last year play them twice each so its an easy 16 points. As a hawks supporter we have to play the pies, cats, eagles, bombers twice and GWS and Gold Coast once

Parra always perform after they sack a coach, bunch of sooks. The coach can't always be the issue....

Just saw the highlights and looked like the Broncos defence was non existent at times. Parra also throwing caution to the wind and it's not the first or last time we'll see this happen with a team that had their coach sacked.

I still give Brisbane hope in the finals, they had a pretty weak team out there tonight looking at the team list. The type of team we should have smashed when they played against us lol.

                spot on^

ala Freddy when he took over. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Parra beat us in the next few rounds

... and now we await the dreaded spoon.

I remember David Middleton showed a stat a couple years back that actually showed the week a new coach joins mid season in the nrl, the team loses more than 50% of the time.
                    ...

They are exactly the same as the roosters. A bunch of mental cases who will never win a premiership until they shed all the weak-minded players who continually find excuses and stop trying.

4 coaches who've allegedly lost the dressing in 6-7 yrs now mate.

Soft club always looking for soft blame and soft excuses for soft performances.

5 weeks to go Dice. I personally have waited for this for a very long time. The one constant will be removed.

Just gotta hope the rust hasn't spread too deep, but sadly I bet it has.

                        You know it makes sense.

I was at the game and the Broncos were that bad. The Eels played well and took their opportunities though. Wallace was embarrassing! He got stood up I don't know how many times, his kicking game was poor and his passing not that much better. No coincidence the Broncos came back in the 15 odd minutes Hindy was off the field-his work in defence is unreal through the middle. Ricky should get in Hindy's ear because he is playing well enough to go around again, not just defensively either, offloading and promoting the ball well. In saying that Mini was too when we resigned him... That's turned out well.

That was one out of the vintage Hindy.
I get the feeling he has had enough of carrying his team & is just getting too old & tired to keep putting in these performances.
                            Can't blame him.
