Why did Brian Smith teach us structure in 2010 and not 2011-2012? Shouldn't have anything to do with Carney.

Hi Rooster Rampage,
The departures were a mixture of no choice (Mr Trent Robinson), poor management (Mr Cherry Mescia), no choice (Nate Myles) and the club making a hard decision (Todd Carney). The departures and inferior replacements have had a negative impact on our team.

Hi theGman,
As I recall our club replaced the highly reputable Cherry Mescia for the fellow from the Brisbane AFL team to negative results. Cherry Mescia was said to be very upset at the decision as we recall he was only brought in for season 2010 after spending a few years at Wests Tigers.
Clubs surround themselves with an effective coaching staff beyond just our head coach. There are many fans rightly dismayed and upset at our head coach however we must remember our coaching set up as a whole is very poor.

I just Google Robinson. He was the assistant coach and now coaches Catalans in the ESL.
From what I recall reading on here Cherry Mescia was the fitness and conditioner and a lot of the players really liked and respected working with him?
We have replaced a lot of men with boys and thankfully we didn't lose Friends sleeve but Conn Myles Carnage left us down a lot on ink and you can't really hope to compete in the NRL these days without excess ink on the field
