I rate him too Funky but sadly for him he's the wrong colour Smith loves the islanders which is our downfall in the pack they're not built for endurance.

I actually know Jack personally and can tell you that he is a super talented footballer (streets ahead of some of the nuffies currently pretending to be first graders in our team), he and Takarangi have played nearly all there football together from juniors up. Takarangi used to get all the raps due to his step and offloads, while Bosden is a willing worker who also has a great offload but is much more selective (Boso is also a much better defender than Taka).

I just want him to get more of a chance to prove himself as he is so much better than the likes of Mose, FPN and Aubusson, yet Smith refuses to drop them regardless of how shit they are and to give this guy a chance.

I'm of the same opinion as you regarding Bosden's abilities and work ethic. He's the same mould as Daniel Conn, i cannot understand why Smith refuses to play him.
If you're in touch with him wish him well & tell him to hang in there & not give up hope. I've no doubt the incoming coach will appreciate his talents & give him a decent go.

Thank whatever you want for that. I can't wait because this Roosters team is going backwards at a rate of knots when they SHOULD be improving both individually and collectively.

I know some of you think the players need to harden up and just get on with it and to some extent I can see your point. I've tried to relate the situation to my place of work and what I'd do if I and others hated the boss - I'd leave if I could see no way forward or any improvement coming but only after I'd exhausted all manner of coping mechanisms.

As to the subject of the thread, add me to the list of supporters who can see that Jack has talent and would add something positive to the first grade side. Why he isn't being given a real go is beyond me particularly when I see just how poorly MAubs for one is playing.

With SBW and FPN in there we need some grinders to do the dirty work who just run forward and tackle hard, yeah a bit like daniel conn. I liked what i seen when bosden played against the dragons back in the early rounds, nek minut freckn back to newtown????? Too many pretty boys in that pack and no work horses. All bloody good to play play showoff type basketball on attack but then none want to defend (exclude JWH)

I have heard some things lately that it is bellamy but I am not confident of that yet. Maybe I dont want to get my hopes up.
