  • Round 23 Preview

Round 23, Saturday the 11th August, Parramatta Stadium sets the stage for this, the 2012 Wooden Spoon Grand Final. Who will triumph?? The Roosters are looking to repeat their effort of 2009, and have looked like recapturing that form with a trademark collapse in the second half of the season, meanwhile the Eels have looked like spooners all year, but Co-Captains Braith Anasta and his Nose have other plans.

Key Matchups: Mitchell Pierce and Chris Sandow, the battle of the overpaid halves. The NSW SOO halfback has been absolutely instrumental in securing the Sydney sides downfall this season, providing pointless attacking kicks and finding the fullback on the full all season, but can he be outdone by Mr Missed-Tackle, the $550k man Chrissy Sandow, tune in at 5:30 on Fox Sports 2 to find out.
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

This will be a close match. My prediction is the penalty count to favour Parramatta more than the winning teams winnng margin

Why isn't this blockbuster on channel nine? It will be the game of the round.
