I think we'll be fine between Friend and Seluini. Use Friend for the first 15-20 as a sacrificial lamb and then bring on Seluini to wreak havoc. I agree about Mini but he is stuck with us for next season. Not much we can do about that. I think we'd make the finals with current playing ability Friend and Mini starting, but we wouldn't make the grand final. One season of finals footy would be a massive confidence boost for 2014.

Bonnetti was nothing special in offence, but his service out of dummy half to his pivots was impeccable. He always had the ball out in front of them so they were at pace when they caught it. He was affective at keeping the opposition in two minds alternating between left and right. And he tackled his guts out and got better as a player over time. I remember an article about him where it said he would pass off the ground at a spot on the wall 200 times a night just to keep his eye on for his delivery out of dummy half.

Can someone who's actually been watching the Jets this year clarify as to whether he's actually playing better than the other fringe back rowers at Newtown?
