  • Cronulla Sharks will win comp ... in 2013

TODAY'S signing of Luke Lewis gives the mighty Sharks a roster to go all the way next year.
Throw Lewis, Michael Gordon and one more outside back into the equation and it’s a premiership winning outfit.

Coach Shane Flanagan has done a wonderful job this year to mould the Sharks into a highly competitive outfit.

Lewis could have joined the Wests Tigers, Newcastle or Parramatta but he chose the Sharks because he thinks the club can win a premiership.

So finally, leaving that porch light on for Harold Holt, wasn’t such a bad idea.

And he is due to run off the tracks shortly...no matter how much buzz tries to protect him.

I'm looking forward to that happening purely for observing slothfark's reaction.

The alcho journo gets his hopes up every year and is always disapointed. Even when they are good the Guppies are not good enough to win a premiership.

Luke Lewis will spend half the year out injured or in Origin camp. Can't believe they've signed the bloke for 4 years. Two years yes, but 4??

If there is one thing that Flannagan learned off Sticky it's an obsession for multiple second rowers in your squad.

I would rather have Lewis for 4 years than SBW for 1 year

Either way you think about it, it is a worry that a good player decides to pass over our club for club like Cronulla. Obvious that the money AND perhaps any chance of success was more evident for Lewis to accept such a deal.

Lewis is a great player, the people making the decisions at the sharks are on the money.

Injuries will determine who wins the comp in 2013.

If the Sharks lose Jeremy Smith then Lewis is purly a replacement for him so they will be in the same boat as they are in now.
With Lewis in there team it makes them a good side but no better than what they are this year.

Yep just like they thought they would win it when Stuart and Toupou went there.
