I'd happily cop the rubbish going on for the last 8 years if we had gone three-in-a-row (like we should).

Agreed. You don't get many chances at the top - especially with the Salary cap. We should've cashed in a lot more than we did when we had our chance. I would've settled for 2 from 3. 1 from 3 hurts (1 from 4 if you count the GF against the Broncos).

I know some people bag it but I actually find the Game Plan the best of the lot when it comes to footy shows. They have credible and worthwhile guests and actually spend time talking to them properly and letting them have a say, not treat them like props and stooges like the Footy Show does. I can only manage 15 minutes of the tripe and drivvle that Channel 9 dish up of a Thursday night.

And I have to say that NRL on Fox has gone backwards in leaps and bounds this year. It's no longer anywhere near the show it used to be - now it's all about the presenters stroking each other's egos and making smartarse comments that have little relevance to the game itself.

I always enjoy hearing Fitzy speak because he does it with so much passion and honesty. So I will be tuning in tonight, as always.

All three were intensely painful but 04 hurts the most for me. I could barely watch footy for about 3 years afterwards. 03 I can put down to a team on a tear and getting every bounce but 04 we played a team that was worth 3 times what every other Club was allowed to spend on the Cap and couldn't get over the line. Devastating. Then to top it all off the bus full of our mates broke down on the way back and we stood by the road as all the Dogs cars drove by and tooted and screamed at us

I thought this would be about Kasiano getting off scott free. Lucky the prick wasn't in a Roosters jersey he would have gotten 8 weeks for that swinging arm.

              Chook.

Yep the 2004 hurt big time if you go to youtube and type in "sydney Roosters " it shows you Andrew Ryans tackle on Crocker i think in slow motion..... if he scores we win the 2004 GF....

Canterbury are the good guys - the true defenders of Sydney's Western Suburbs against the invading hordes of the AFL. Sam has to play because the Dogs have to stay in the four because they are the good guys!!

Back to reality his arm was stiff and swinging - he should have got two weeks.

Nah nothing to cry over, Penwiff got us fair and square on the day, can't say the same for our 04 and 10 Grand Final losses.

and if Ricko plays he is in support and scores anyway.

I have never looked at even a highlight of any of the losses. I felt like we could have won them all and I would rather live on in my dreamland

I still like NRL on Fox the best because its actually about footy!
Not Michael Slater and Paul Vautin making lame jokes.
                          I JUST WANT FOOTY.

Game plan is boring IMO. Its like a talk show since Gus, Sterlo, Johns left and the Footy Show kept Vautin and put Slater in its stupid.

Actually Sunday Roast is the best.

I've never been able to bring myself to watch any of our GF losses ever again - 1980, 2000, 03, 04 or 10.

I'd be angrier if Skinny was there instead of Fitzy.
