Geez a little harsh on Pearce. He won't be the last player to be fended off by Inglis.

He wasn't fended by inglis. Inglis tried to fed him but Pearce was so far away GI had an air swing.
If that was his only poor play that would be one thing, but his last tackle options throughout the entire game, his long kicks going straight to players on the full AGAIN, and his general inability to control a side in the final 10 mins was bloody pathetic, and par for the course.
As I said, he has not improved one iota since he debuted in 1st grade, and after 6 seasons I am well over us continuing to pay him marquee money on "potential".
If he leaves, I will be happy. Let Mortimer and Maloney have a crack at the halves and see if we even miss superboy

no no no, Mortimer has been given opportunities to shine and hasn't. Pearce does not deserve this much critcism the tactics for the first few sets kick the ball dead not let GI touch the ball. he then thought he rapped up the game by a good kick into touch. Mortimer Isnt the answer...

Pearce has been given over 100 chances and has still yet to take control of the side or stamp his authority on a game against tough opposition.
Mortimer isn't the answer, but he offers pretty much the same and comes at a quarter of the price. I'd be happy to ditch Pearce, put morts in and use the savings to chase a class fullback

My Bone wa salays that he was put in first grade way too young
Lets compare him to reynolds who is 22 and has a his debut season this year ,,,Pearce out played him by a country mile but he will get Kudos for jogging on the spot for the last try

Perhaps he should off at least let it drop in front of some nuffie forward who wont be able to pick it up and run with it. Even a short kick off and knock the ball on to force a scrum. Anything but clean ball. That kick off went straight to where one of their two most potent runners hang around and Anasta should have organised the defense for that. Lack of leadership. DUMB!!!!

Let's look at the shit lazy un-inthusiastic chase hey. Just typifies our season right there in that final play. Serious lack of effort. I'm no fan of Braith but it wasn't his fault
To Blame the loss on Anastas kick off is just a ****ing joke and really shows the level of knowledge that runs at about 0.Last edited by Ms Tee; 07-17-2012, 11:40 AM.
