  • We may be rubbish but

After Monday night, we are playing other rubbish teams:

Penrith, Titans, St George, Parra, Canberra.

Then Tigpies and the ANZ Stadium All Stars.

If we find just a little bit of form, we could finish the season 10th, 9th or even 8th - that's where most of the Chookpen predicted we would finish this year. Why so miserable?

Versing those teams doesn't comfort me in anyway & I predicted we wouldn't make the 8 at all this year but I think the fact being a fan you always have the hope in your heart and you still get dis heartened each week even though you told yourself it would happen!!

Because it could easily happen but it doesn't because of lousy team selections e.g. Braith chief playmaker, Maubs in the centers. Arona and FPN ahead of Takairangi and Bosden. Also refs and attitude play apart. Smith is 40% of the problem.

I can't understand why Takairangi doesn't get picked. He's great at offloading and runs hard. Has never let the team down when he's played. Always been a shining light for us.

A couple of cricket scores against us doesnt help either.

If we win on Monday the feeling will be different and seeing who we have left to play we aren't done with.

            That's IF we win.

I was watching last night hoping the Tigers would beat the Pamffers so they would remain below us on the table when it struck me, how pathetic is that when you have to hope a team beats another team to ensure your team doesn't get the spoon...again.

I'm miserable because our team and club is a joke.

              Chook.

I've been doing exactly the same for the past month or so Chook. So much so that I was pissed off last night at the Druggo Ferrals for beating Manly! When the Riff Raff were getting close to the Tigers I could feel a headache coming on - thankfully they failed in the end.

And am I the only one who cheers as Parra lose week after week and get a little closer to the spoon. After all if Fitzy could finish his NRL career with a spoon so can Hindy - I like Hindy but needs must!!
