  • Give the kids ago.

its time to play a few young kids , give them a chance. just after newtowns strong win , surely smith will atleast give the kids a chance, daniel tupou scoring a hat trick last week now scoring 2 this week ? surely he must be up there on the list ? RTS , i think was up there with leading meters in nyc , would love to see how this kid goes in first grade , evans looks strong has trained with the squad too so he shouldnt bee too far. Its not like were contenders for the finals you would think , i would put em in , give them a taste of first grade so next year if they do come in they know what to expect and give a few of our players like arona , masoe , maubs maybe to tune up . even put in young Kheirallah .

Agree mate. If they aren't in our plans for the future there is no point in them playing. Give the kids a run.

Instead of Maubs in the centers how about you move Moga there and Leilua and Tupou on the wings.

Against a team that hasn't won all season? A team that has conceded on average 57 points a game?

I'm all for giving young kids a go, but basing it off yesterday's wins, or "because he scored 3 tries" means nothing.

As soon as we are mathematically ruled out I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of youngsters come in on the odd occasion. Would be nice to give Evans, Napa and RTS a taste of the top grade, if only for them to have a big preseason.

                p.s.

Aren't there rules around the salary cap here?

After Monday night, we''ll be feather dusters, so yes, why not give the young blokes a go, and see what they have go. BJ is not a wingers backside, I'd like to see him get a run at lock, could be his position. Moga and SKD to settle down in the centres, Tupou given a chance on the wing, RTS , maybe not ready just yet, the rest of the season in Newtown.while he is still learning the game, then straight into the first grade squad from pre season training commencement.Napa and Evans deserve some firstgrade as well.

I agree. The young guns need to get blooded with some first grade experience before the end of the season. If we are out of contention for the top 8 it would be good to see people like Evans, RTS and Napa

Good chance of that happening when we play Parra &/or Penriff. Rhys Martin deserves to make his debut off the bench too. He's one to keep.

P.S Having said the above, it's all good & well we diehard fans support our youngsters being blooded for next year but what the club has to be mindful & cautious about is its position in relation to the salary cap, especially if a players contract stipulates a bonus/reward be activated if they play NRL.

What he said....we have the youngest team in the comp. Maybe ask their nephews to play instead?

Pretty sure its going to be Tasi in to the starting side, with Seluini on the bench.
