Did anyone watch tonights episode of Hard Quiz on the ABC ? Had a contestant called Adam and his subject was the Sydney Roosters, he got through to the third round but didn't get through to the last two. was hoping he got through so i could hear the harder questions on his subject and see whether i knew the answers. Of course in his first round of question there was one about the Mitchell Pearce incident.

Yes, caught a bit of it, but missed his questions. Funny quote from Tom when he said at least he made the top 4 loll....He was wearing the 94 away jersey too which was great to see......

Didn't think to look for Hard Quiz under the Adidas thread. I was hoping he got through to hear what sort of questions that would have been asked about Easts in the final round.

Thanks for the confirmation Horry. I just watched the show now. . Seems like a nice young man and there was a shot of him wearing one of the Marvel jerseys from 2014 when we played St George on a Saturday night. It was my birthday the next day and I sat with Jack and Thirteen was not far behind us.

That's right, I think I went as Batman. You were either Robyn (with a Y) or Lois Loan? Its a bit hazy but I do recall Thirteen went as Wonder Woman (ahead of his time, before the NRLW). I just wish his costume had left more to the imagination.

Yes, Thirteen stole my Wonder Woman costume! I thought I was the only gorgeous brunette in red, white & blue with gold accessories, fighting off crime in the eastern suburbs until he came along..sigh...

He didn't know much on the expert subject. Had no idea that the club was known as the Tricolours though the question asked for the French term and that probably stumped him.

The questions in the 2 out showdown are quite esoteric and can be anything re the Club so doubtful that he would have answered any at all. At that level, the King would be a better bet.

You are right there, thought it was a strange he didn't know the club being known as the Tricolours, it would have been interesting to see what the questions would have been in the last round had he got through.

I have often thought what would be my subject if i had ever gone on Hard Quiz, two have been done, ABBA and the Roosters, frustrating with the ABBA one as the girl got through to the last round but floundered on the questions, i was yelling at the TV s i knew the answers.

So i suppose my subjects would either be The Towering Inferno or the Universal movie monsters from the 30 s and 40 s.

We bought the board game last Christmas as well as Spicks and Specks. We had lots of family game nights over Christmas. I’m sure we’ll bring them out again this Christmas. They’re fun especially S&S.
