final score is 14 roosters and 12 shire.

wtf was that shit about mose tackling to hard. the guppie got hit on the left leg which mose held. when he was penalised and put on report the guppie stand up and walks off for a free interchange he has a right leg limp.

the limp dykked refs and going to fcuk up our game if we dont fix it. spend the 10k uncle nik

At least Paul Kent saw it like it was. From the Tele:

"Of course, the Sharks had an unusual advantage.

At halftime the scoreline could well have read the Sydney Roosters 4, the Cronulla Crowd 10.

The Sharks crowd is as vocal as it is small, both aggressive and intimate, which is the most influential kind on referees.

And they felt it last night. The halftime penalty count was Sharks 5, Roosters 0, eventually finishing 9-2.

All those close calls seemed to go the Sharks way early, and so while the Roosters were getting the best of the collisions early - usually an indicator of dominance - the Sharks were getting the best of luck. As they say, it's better to be lucky than to be good.

Mitch Pearce threw a lovely face pass to Tautau Moga, for instance, that put Moga over in the corner.

Yet the crowd rose as one - "Forward!!" - and the play was called back even though the ball clearly went backwards from Pearce's hands.

      And so it went."

Moga should have had a try. The ball from Pearce left his hands backwards before floating forward. Those 50/50 calls usually go against us because we have no supporters at the games keeping the ref's honest. How will SBW handle playing in empty parks?

Lay day Bryce Gibbs, holding his knee like the softcock he is, as soon as the penalty is awarded he continues on the play the rest of the game including extra time, even awarded MOM for his performance.

The BJ no try also was first knocked on by the sharks winger, yet they get a 20 mtr restart.

Blatant strip on BJ by De Goise goes unpunished

De Goise knocks the ball out of MOgas hands on the 1st tackle goes un-noticed, play on, Pommeroy scores on the 7th tackle

            WTF

I couldn't believe the commentators were insisting that should have been awarded. "I know there is separation but..."

Shouldn't matter if its 1mm or 1 metre, seperation is seperation. Thats why we have the technology to use and thats why the ref called for the review.

It's about time they started calling tries like this no trys. Normally if you knock it on but retain half a pinky on your knock on as it hits the ground they give it.

Didn't get the chance to watch the game last night, recorded it and just finished watching. For f@$ks sake, stop putting up with this shite Brian, or if he doesn't have the persona to snap, then get someone else to do it. I admit we are ill disciplined and deserve approx half the penalties that go against us, but get f&@ked with the rest. I have never seen another team penalised for so many bullsh&t calls. Mose penalised for tackling with too much force around the legs, then the ref penalises him for holding pomeroy, and says "if he doesn't hold him he doesn't punch him" or similar. I know he's not popular on here but we need Anasta to have another "you're off your head" comment next time to the refs when one of these bullsh&t calls goes against us.
