I feel there's guys from other clubs you can sign because they're standup blokes with lives outside club footy (e.g. Cronk, SBW, Keary...etc) and then there's guys like NAS / Burgess / Mam...etc who simply don't fit within the culture.

IMO it'd be like signing Cheese. Great in theory but all his runs will be soft because there's no RWB in his DNA. He'd probably also end up getting injured / suspended long-term or establishing an intimate relationship with his wheelie bin. Either way he'd do anything within his power to get paid $$$ for the least effort possible. Not saying he's that sorta guy... just don't think he's programmed to respect our colours.

We need an enforcer/ leader of the pack!

Sign NAS or bring back the Big Dog.

I think Spencer is enough mate.

And Gus is gradually growing into a bit of an enforcer role too.

'Enforcers' in the old fashioned sense are dying out by design. They simply get penalised out of the game.

Sure it's important to have them, but you need to mitigate the risk.

Whyte does his job better than anyone else in our pack these days. And he basically has a smile on his face when doing it.
