That or a Monty Python skit where the French and English are trading blows that are intentionally lame.

Maybe watching EU or South American soccer's more interesting? I didn't feel the crowd really got into the game at any point.

All whites? My only thought is that it's a bit weird when their national teams for every other sport wear black. My understanding is that it's not even a racial reference, it's just their colours (though in rugby there's obviously a lot of Maoris playing the sport).

Not sure why their soccer team's white? It feels more 'ofd one out' than anything.
It's because black uniforms are reserved for the referees - hence there would be a clash. In English soccer, there are only 3 teams that have black in their home jersey: Newcastle United, Notts County and Luton Town.

Times have changed in the last few years; teams and countries can now wear black and referees don't have to exclusively wear black.

The 'all whites' was just a reference similar as to why the union team are called the 'all blacks' because of their uniform.

I heard or read somewhere that the ‘All Blacks’ name came about by a misunderstanding. Back in the days before Internet and the only overseas communication was by Morse Code a message was sent to a media outlet in the UK about the New Zealand team who were coming to play. The message described the team as playing like a team of ‘all backs’. The journalist who received the message thought it was a typo and presumed it was meant as a reference to the jersey colour so changed it to ‘All Blacks’ and the name stuck.

Kiwis love their teams no matter what sport

        All Blacks - Union
        Black Caps - Cricket
        Tall Blacks - Basketball
        Silver Ferns - Netball
        Kiwis - Rugby League
        Etc

They need to come up with a name for their football team as All Whites is the odd one out.

        Black Heads
        Black Boots
        Black ??

Quite strange that the All Whites name is often being debated as being racist but the All Blacks name is considered historic and untouchable as far as changing the name.

In US Sports you have seen Cleveland Indians become Cleveland Guardians and Washington Redskins become the Washington Commanders for an example.
What about the racist history of the Atlanta Braves?

Other American sports franchises have changed their names to be more culturally considerate however the Braves have been causing controversy with their Tomahawk Chop since 1972. What makes them
so special that they should not be more considerate of native Americans and why do you support such a racist and culturally insensitive organisation? I thought you were right on board with the woke movements of today or is it all just a facade with the games you continually play on here?

Don't expect an answer from the resident troll, you've already answered it.

Can you believe that someone who preaches the woke ways of today actually claims to have a financial interest in an organisation that dehumanises its countries own First Nations people.

So not only is its dribble on here a steaming load of crap, by its own admission, it actually pays to support the exact opposite!

Lol allowing your former capt and loyal stalwart Reynolds go because he was considered over the hill and too injury prone.

The Vermin have been mediocre since. Our hearts bleed........
