Great night for Easts. Congratulations to Rob, Marky and Isabella. Teddy what else is there to say about him. An absolute legend!

Pretty good results for a club. 'in rebuilding' after many had written us off as goiing to languish around the bottom of the ladder. Says a lot about the professionalism of the club as a business overall that these results can still be achieved by standout individuals. The womens' team in particular with their undefeated record is not that common these days..in any sport.

Also worth noting that Rob Toia finished the season in 2nd place for ono-on-one tackles with 71, only one behind Katoni Staggs.

Rob has had an excellent first season. I think he’ll continue to grow next year and will likely become a very special player for us.

Never any doubt. Teddy is a modern day legend and deserves all the individual awards he gets. Amazing captain and rooster.

Great to see Marky and Toia win aswell. Two great players with great attitudes. Both come across so humble and soft spoken.

Yeah Teddy blitz them this year, well done & congratulations to him.
Marky exceeded everyone’s expectations & what a X factor player he is but for me Rob Toia is the feel good story at the Roosters this year.
It was brought up by someone on here after Bobby T was picked for Origin that he would be the rookie of the year & I responded “no he won’t” & that the young fullback from Parra would get it so I went out yesterday & bought myself an extra large humble pie & have been eating it this morning for breakfast then I ate more of it for lunch & I will finish off eating it for dinner.
Hopefully we keep him at the Roosters for the next 10 years.

is this teddy's best season ever? nah, he had a great year but he always has great years. of all the 'great' players to have played the nrl he's one of the most consistent. a bit like borg at wimbledon. even his worst games always have a lot of good stuff. robbo talked about him being the best 'ruck fullback' ever and i'm not sure that's a position but you know what he means. teddy's teddy.

great he got the best captain gong as well. the roosters were behind the 8 ball this year and i for one was worried the season might go the way of 2016 but teddy's leadership was one of the reasons why we feel deflated atm despite making the semis.
