What a game. In those oppressive conditions, amazing athletic performance by the players. Gutted for our girls, but also very proud of them. Broncos defence was great.

We were a bit stiff with some calls incl the matchwinner try, looked like an incredible hold=up.

Baxter, Parker and Kelleher all outstanding. My player of the match went to our little hooker though...off the charts performance by her.

Yes, didn't help that the ref was on the wrong side and then by the time she adjusted it was down. All in all the broncos just bit better across the match and probably the right result.

even if you accept that refs are going to make wrong decisions i wouldn't call it the right result. maybe it depends what right result means.
if we'd been full strength and the broncos were without the equivalent of aiken, hall and naividi - say upton, sauaso and ciesiolka and we'd been wearing the broncos jerseys yesterday i would have said that we got lucky.

girls showed incredible spirit to get so close. we played the broncos twice this season without our main playmaker and scored as many points as we conceded. no doubt injuries are a part of footy but we've assembled the best team, the girls played great footy and they didn't win the comp. they must be hurting.
