What a game. In those oppressive conditions, amazing athletic performance by the players. Gutted for our girls, but also very proud of them. Broncos defence was great.

We were a bit stiff with some calls incl the matchwinner try, looked like an incredible hold=up.

Baxter, Parker and Kelleher all outstanding. My player of the match went to our little hooker though...off the charts performance by her.

Apart from the last try being no try which ultimately decided our fate I’m not sure Brisbane got a penalty in the whole game

Going forward the Roosters will need to look at their squad for 2026 - Tarryn and Taina with ACL's and no guarantee they will be back in 2026 with such late in season ACL Injuries. Usually 9 to 12 months recovery.

Millie Elliot will be back for 2026 but they will need to re-jig their attack in 2026.

Feel gutted for them. Nothing went their way. So many injuries and disruptions yet they fought on bravely.

The bunker was way to quick to confirm the try, reckon they only looked at all the angles only once. I thought from one angle the point of the ball hit the ground initially when the Broncos player went over before hands got under it to hold the ball up but other angles it did not look like it hit the ground, usually the bunker will take all their time in the world to look at all angles but not this time.
