NRLW maternity leave provides multi-season contracted players with up to 12 months of paid parental leave at their playing fee, alongside protected contracts and guaranteed return-to-play spots.

Replacement Players:

Clubs can sign replacement players to fill the Top 24 squad spot of a pregnant player, with the costs subsidised by the NRL and not counted against the club's salary cap.
