the talking points are amber hall has been named on the extended bench, nasio comes back into the starting side and naividi back to the wing.
strangey's capable of playing ducks and drakes a bit. hasn't done it this season so much but hopefully that's what he's doing here with hall.

I really hope that Hall is fit and ready to play as she adds some X-factor to our game, particularly when we are attacking close to the try line. She can also put on a big hit in defence, so fingers crossed she is OK.

Hard to recover from a calf injury in a few weeks especially when it sounded like it was a torn calf of sorts and Amber only played 11 minutes or so in the Prelim Final.

A few of the reserves haven't played for a while either - Tavarna Papalii for an example missed a fair bit of footy recovering from a fractured jaw she suffered in the Women's SOO Game 3 match. Would have been a regular in the 17 otherwise.

Hall clearly wasn't fully fit to play against the Sharks and stirred up that calf issue again in very limited minutes would be very surprised if she plays on Sunday.

I concur with my learned friend here on all counts. Big excitement at work for this one. Millie Elliott has a lovely little daughter as well now. Another future champion in the making.

girls are a good chance here. the only clear point of difference in the teams is upton who's pretty much scoring two tries a game. it's hard to keep upton quiet but a good kicking game, the middles getting a roll on and keeping mistakes to a minimum will help. we've got a few stars ourselves. kernick and kelly have been inspirational.
has hall's calf been diagnosed? strangey said she'd be good to go this week. even if we can get 20 minutes out of her she's worth a risk. either way nasio's a very good player and maybe we can squeeze a few more minutes out of her.
the girls have shown a lot of spirit this year and you know they're going to give it their all

Its tough with Amber; even 10 min from her could win you the game. Someone needs to be in Uptons face, perhaps Nasio? The Broncos have a few errors in them and can be flustered especially Robinson and Hufanga. They are a good side but we have better talent across the park. Its going to be close. Belinda Notso as ref doesn't inspire a sense of even and fair adjudication.

Wishing the girls all the best. Aitken is a big loss, but I thought Kellaher was huge against the Sharks.

we're going a bit under the radar here. broncs are paying only 1.65. the cronulla side that we 'only just' managed to beat last week was no worse than the team that beat the broncos in last year's prelim. the sharks played most of this season affected by injuries but their prelim team was a good team.
true, aiken is a big loss but we beat the broncs earlier in the season without her.
broncs have a good side but of their backs only upton and robinson would be sure of making it into our side. they've got a good forward pack but the youngster sauaso is the only one i'd include in ours

I was trying really hard not to laugh the other day because the Teams call with the big executives showed a life size sceen of Izzy in her Blues jersey in the background looming over everyone. What a champion she is.
