Either way I'm over it all for a bit. This season saw a mixture of development and disappointment.

No disrespect to those in the GF but I reckon this year was one for the taking as nobody really stood out. Like the raiders won most of their games but by small margins and without the feeling they were unstoppable. It was more like Sticky chained together a stack of awkwardly narrow wins using bespoke tactics for each game and then ran out of steam come finals time.

Bulldogs looked like outright champs for a bit then where did theyvgo? Wahs snuck in as they often do. Sharks finished the season hard. Dolphins put on a heap of cricket scores then faded. Souffs came good in the field of avoiding the spoon. SO MANY REGRETS AS IT WAS ONE FOR THE TAKING!!!

It's a year where if we once again coulda been top 4 if we hadn't farked around and lost so many winnable games against shyte teams. Ironically we weren't that bad against some of the better teams this season.

Benaiah will end up being our 9. Robson is no guarantee to even play first grade, and is almost as bad a buy as dce.

That's the risk when you buy players 18 months out like with Robson. Esp for big $$. In the meantime you unearth a great kid who is on way less money. Benny will end up being a much better player than Robson.

Similar mistake with dce and Hugo, but that's an even stupider mistake with dce being 37yo.

Agree. Robson is one of the best hookers in the comp, and almost certainly the best defensive one. He was one of three standouts for the Cowboys this year, and has excelled at origin as well. He’s a total gun.

I'm with you mate. Huge Benny fan and my main reason for not celebrating the signing of Robson was the effect it could have on B's career with us. No doubt Robbo will give Robbo first dibs though.
