I miss his short side plays.

It will mean that everyone from the 2019 GF who are not currently playing have a gig at Easts. Wild.

Can't understand why both DCE nor the Roosters have failed to clarify the situation. They have zero reason to withhold the decision now given their apparent signing of Luke as a halves coach. Surely DCE is surplus to our needs?

Picking up on another post where someone said where are the new ideas going to come from leads me to this question - what skill would you like the team to develop in the offseason? I have a few - ability to kick a 40/20, ability to hit one of those torpedo like bombs, and just some different off the cuff plays. Take Paps try off the inside left to right banana kick the other night from Hughes.

What new skill do we want developed?

Love Keary and think he could be an okay coach
I am a little concerned though as post injury he lost confidence and spark and when he had the duty of being the game controller and teaching Walker and allowing Sammy to do his magic Keary wanted to play his old game which wasn’t working and not take control - maybe he never was one but it felt I’ll just play for myself kind of vibes

atm Walker is a natural born play what’s in front of him but we need a game manager and someone to teach Savala this
              which Keary is not

I'm going to be the annoying one now..for something different..

My hairdresser plays golf with 'insert name of certain highly decorated multi premiership winning player' and said he was not consulted in his capacity of 'insert job description' regarding one DCE. He said he's not really the right fit with all due respect and could not see it happening. That was back in April mind you when I was told this. I really can't see this either myself.

My hairdresser was the one who said James Tedesco was coming and even Mad Rooster in Graceland had to admit I got that right back in 2017..but who knows these days. I'm not a fan personally..of DCE I hasten to add..not Teddy..everyone loves Teddy..

He's always been really accurate in the almost 20 years I've known him. He is a no BS type of person with genuine club connections.

I'm thrilled Luke is coming back and that time went so fast. He will forever be a hero to me for telling Rusty to go stick it where the sun don't shine. Appalling way to treat a young man at the time. So glad he came to us and found success and a happy work environment. They all come back into the fold eventually..

Yeah, he didn’t like being the controller, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t know what to do.
You need a certain style to teach, I prefer Keary over Cronk.
DCE might be a good option too.

And you may be right too! It's important for players to be up front and open with the coach- but at the same time you dont want the lunatics running the asylum. They either get on board or move on. I cant think of any players who have said anything bad about Robbo and wanted out- is there one?

I can see Keary returning in a specialist role and getting a gig in the media.

Keary returning as halves coach to take over from Cronk makes sense.

Might also explain why DCE was caught having lunch with Craig Fitzgibbon yesterday as well....
