Interesting move by John Strange having Taina Naividi fill in for Nasio in the second row we are going to lose a lot of go forward on kick returns without her on the wing. Hope the fact we will be carrying so many players with injury question marks doesn't come back to bite us.

    2. Mia Wood

My gut feeling is Naividi will come off the bench as a dummy half replacement and one of the bigger forwards will start instead.

Big shoes for Baxter to fill.

Might see Naividi start on the wing with Wood in the second row which is how they lined up in round 1 this year.

That's a possibility however, i would rather be utilising an experienced forward instead.
Papalii might be our shiny diamond.
She's very capable and competent in the halves or backrow.

Key Injuries have hit us at a bad time.
They must employ resilience and composure. Something Robbo's mob dont comprehendo, unfortunately

A couple of the players haven't trained since the Sharks game and have been in the hands of the medical/physio staff since, so on Friday we will see if they have been passed fit to play as well as others under an injury cloud when the squad is reduced to 19 players.

They need to be good around the ruck and keep Georgia Hannaway quiet as she gets the Sharks going forward and, with the quick play of the ball, a few of the commentators have mentioned, that is where to attack the Roosters and then move the ball wide against a retreating/scrambling defence.

Interesting line up. Naividi has been a standout all year. Great defence and very willing worker. I see it as a good move. I wouldn't be surprised if Papalii comes in for Burton; it would provide more cover with Naividi a capable dummy half and Keeley into the backline if required. Potential injury issues are a real concern. I am a bit nervous but I just rewatched the recent game v Sharks and ,if the side plays with focus and intent , the Sharks are very beatable especially on their left.

good luck to the girls. we'll find out who's running out soon but even if everyone in doubt is ruled out we'll give it a shake.
there's a big gap between cronulla and the broncos and while i get it that this game is a knock out i wouldn't have a problem with holding back anyone who's not fully fit. we'd find it hard to win next week without hall.
either way wouldn't be surprised if gray and papalii come into the side.

6 of the girls made it into the rlpa team of the year. obviously kelly and kernick and aiken made it too despite missing most of the season. i'm going to miss watching her play. but the players know what they're talking about picking butler, pule and naividi in the team. nothing better then being recognised by your peers. well deserved.

We have Belinda Notso as the ref and the Broncs have the female Badger. Shocking call especially Notso who has been getting a lot wrong and I believe has no feel for the game.

Big inclusion for the Sharks with Annessa Biddle being passed fit to play and being included in their team at the 24hr cutdown to 19.

The Roosters need to play their game and they should be okay

Good luck to the Hens today. I hope we have someone to cheer for next week. They deserve to be there after the wonderful season they’ve had.

                          Roosters by 14.

                          GO EASTS!!

Quincy Dodd now also in for the Sharks combined with the likes of Biddle and Ravics they are a considerably stronger team than when we played them a couple of weeks ago.

Roosters are 1-17 as named on Tuesday.

Going to be a tough task as the Sharks have nothing to lose with the Roosters as favourites which is always a danger and hopefully the Roosters concentrate on their own game and not get flustered if points don't come.

A concern is also the fitness of players who were under injury clouds and how they pulled up to be fit to play. A few are being strapped and needled up to play
