Pretty much certain that Manu and Suaalii won't be coming back - very doubtful that Mark will either and the lure of the Euro maybe too hard for Matt Jorgensen to resist after 2027.
Mmmmichael, you’re showing your true colours.

BTW, it’s Max Jorgensen, not Matt.

No more Union stars, look how the 2 we bought in recent times have worked out.
Came and went in the blink of an eye.
Plenty of already trained in RL players around.
$500,000 and a new car could get some players to switch clubs.
Kevin Walters hinted the other day that Mark will picked for the Kangaroo tour. What an achievement that would be in one season. The guy has been phenomenal. If he wants to go back to Union after next season good luck to him, he'll make squillions. We have him for another year first, so plenty of time to develop a replacement.
What a joy it has been to watch him play.

I'm fairly confident that Manu, Suaalii, or Marky, would jump at the opportunity to replace Teddy on over $1m per season.

I said the same to my boss the other day. ...every Monday I'd get a Teams message from him about "Marky Mark"..my boss is a long suffering Tigers fan so was living vicariously through our run to the finals..I always thought Mark was only going to be with us for 2 years anyway. I'd much rather he do this special guest appearance for 2 years with us and leave us with some pretty amazing memories for the highlights reel in years to come.

2026 is also the postcode for Bondi Beach...It's a sign I tell ya...!

I don't think dollars has much to do with it. It's the experience of a Rugby world cup, and with the wallabies improved performances of late they could go a long way. Alas, apart from SOO league doesn't have much to offer on the international stage. Yet.

Now I’m genuinely worried he won’t return.

I'm happy for him that he loves Union where he can travel the world and play a roving role in games.
I do like all good people to be happy.

We need to stop buying Union *stars* and spending money, time and effort teaching them to play NRL only to see them rush back to Union after 24 months.

I found having a few bourbons helps with the pronunciation of his name.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
                    It's called experience.

My boss and I take it turns to do the coffee runs when we are in the office.. That helps..!

Exactly, and Big Joe really lacks real pace and looks fairly average for the money he's on.
