The Panthers look impressive so far - I think they have another gear in them too - getting back to their Boa constrictor best

We def did miss it, on our disciplined days this season we would beat anyone and could be beaten by anyone on our bad days, we can’t string 4 wins in a row in finals to win it we would have shot ourselves in the foot eventually.

We need top 4 and consistently string wins together.

Besides that, try living in Canberra amongst their annoying supporters and biased media coverage and you may develop a different appreciation for Ricky. Then there’s the fact he’s a protected species within the news corp media machine with all his mates there to look after him. I had a soft spot for the old raiders team of the 80’s / 90’s. Not anymore.
I really enjoyed myself last Monday at work MR, I’ll give them all a bit of a break, unless they start on the conspiracies again

Always loved his passion, although the whining can get grating.

I've been hoping either they or the Sharks get up & win it this year, as all the other alternatives make me wanna puke.
Ditto. He also came to our 2002 anniversary celebrations, and appeared in the video, which I thought was good form.

Like other poster’s have mentioned even if we held the pill we would have needed some Sammy magic threading the ball through the line and snagging some tried but they put us off our game, the try before halftime where the Cronulla players knocked the ball out of Sammy’s hands near buried us bad miss, but luck was on their side.

If we completed over 80% we would have won
we nearly won completing at 60%
walkers kicking game was off - he went to long or short on the cross field kicks otherwise we would have got a try or two there
also sharks D would have lost intensity if we kept the ball Rieu would have eventually cracked
we just were not patient enough

After years of moaning about losing a Grand Final to us after a "controversial" correct decision after the ref tried to rip us off, and even one bloke driving around Canberra with a big sticker on the back of their car exclaiming "Raiders - 2019 Premiers!", I had little sympathy.

There was another bloke on here that used to mention Penrith’s boa constrictor style of play often over the last few years. What was his name? King something or other. I wonder what happened to him as I’ve not seen him around for a while. I hope he is OK.

Canberra bouncing out in straight sets is as predictable as Penriff winning yet another comp by timing their run perfectly.

Unfortunately, It’s looking increasingly that way. Gee it would be nice to see a GF without either Penrith or Melbourne.

                        Indeed.
Panthers completed 100% in first half.
That's the standard if you wanna win games and premierships.
They had the game won at half time...after 15 mins actually.

I'm tuned out but honestly wouldn't mind the Sharks (coached by Fitzy) getting one up on the Storm / Broncos / Riff.

Though, I hope our NRLW team beats them tomorrow above all

to be fair canberra could easily have beaten the broncos. i don't think it was surprising that they then went out in straight sets. they had a great season but they never looked invincible
