The comments that Nick came out wit after Latrell was photographed standing over a white substance was also a big reason that it made headlines.
If the guy who runs the Raiders came out earlier this year & said any player who plays for Canberra throws a glass at staff or was aggressive towards police will be sacked it would also draw a lot more attention from the media
The fact that "the guy who runs the raiders" didn't come out earlier this year and make a public stand against any of their players throwing drinks at staff in a club, or being aggressive towards police, means that it is totally acceptable for the media to sweep Papali's conduct under the carpet, while simultaneously launching a full scale nuclear attack on Radley and the Easts club and demanding his departure from the game, because Politis previously made a statement against his players taking drugs.
Papali is a victim here. Had his club publicly stated their negative stance towards throwing glasses at club staff members, or abusing police called by the club to protect their staff from threats made against them by a massive, pissed Polynesian, then I'm sure he would have behaved differently. His club has failed him. And the media are right to ignore his conduct. And the conduct of his wife running onto the field and bashing female players.

He threw a glass at staff and was aggressive towards police. His lawyers are trying desperately to get him off the charges. The media were happy to drag Easts and Rads threw the mud, but barely a whisper of this Papalii incident, especially throughout the finals campaign. I wonder if the faiders will now give Papalii a 10 game suspension for something that is far worse than taking drugs.

Also Mrs Papali has had her own beaviour issues: https://region.com.au/josh-papaliis-...layers/878633/
Once again, makes you wonder about the unrestrained way in which the media have done everything they can to destroy Radley (plus the roosters club) and his career over an alleged indiscretion that surely in no way approaches the seriousness of Papali's alleged offences.

But my word he is way more trouble than he’s worth now. To me he has regressed heavily on the field (partly not his fault, there’s a range of factors). I’d be quite content if he never played for us again, we have so many young bulls coming through. He isn’t worth keeping on the sidelines for 10 weeks. I think that was a bit of mercy shown to a bloke that has given his heart and soul to the club. That decision by the club was about as smart as some of Victors off field decisions and I believe time will prove that.
People may draw parallels to when some were saying JWH wasn’t worth the hassle. Apart from his discipline, JWH was consistently our best middle forward and almost always turned up for big games. Rads is not on his level as a player and has not shown the consistency of a JWH. As I said above, partly not his fault. Had rotten luck with concussions and was unfairly targeted during a crackdown which probably makes him second guess himself. Either way he hasn’t adapted and Rads is surplus to requirements in the modern game in my humble and meaningless opinion.

I wonder why?
I wonder if the Roosters told him to make himself unavailable?
I would love to of seen him play for the Poms against Australia.

No one else has been caught or owned up but there are many opinions that the amount apparently supplied was more than sufficient for 1 person. From the number of players caught /photographed with substances over the last 5 years it would appear that the use of coke is widespread in the NRL and it would be reasonable to assume that more than 1 player at the club has dabbled.
Do you really think Rads did this without the others knowing? If they knew, did they try to stop him? If not, aren't they complicit? Where then does the 'Club Culture' lie? If everyone was fully invested in Club Culture surely the others would have spoken up or does Club Culture only extend to ' don' get caught' but if you do 'you're on your own'.
