I know Robbo is the master talker and very good with his words, but after listening to his confidence in the team yesterday has me believing Sharks have no chance tonight..

I’ve said in the past I won’t fall into the trap again as it’s backfired before, but here I am again..

    Go Easts

I’m just continuing to enjoy the ride knowing each week could be our last and hoping like crazy it’s not! Let’s go Easts!

I was so so nervous before the Souffs game. I feel totally relaxed today as anything from here on in is a bonus.

This is knockout footy. Everything we’ve done this season counts for nothing if we don’t beat the Sharks. We scraped into the 8 and most people didn’t even think we’d make it this far. But we did. And now, we’ve got the chance to turn that into something special, a finals win, away from home, backs against the wall.

And don’t give the Sharks an ounce of respect. I don’t care where they finished, I don’t care who they beat last week, I just don’t rate them. They never get better. Their "Rooster coach” Fitzy hasn’t taken them anywhere and they never seem to improve. They’re just a rubbish club making up the numbers, as always. Their Port-A-Loo Park is a great reflection and symbol of them as a club. It tells the story of their organization, cheap, plastic and soulless.

So tonight, we rip in from the very first whistle. We bash them, we outwork them and we send them packing. Time to show the Sharks and everyone else, what the Roosters are made of.

                Kick-off’s coming. 750pm.

                GO ROOSTERS! Let’s go boys!
They love playing at their home...Shark park.
                They win there very often.
                Their home ground.
                Their fanatical fans.
Their playing style suiting officialdom's reffing style perfectly.
To win, we must play our very best footy.
100% completions, no mistakes, no dumb short drop outs, no wayward passes, no dropped ball, wingers to guard the sidelines securely, ...effective tackles, not illegal ones.

I’ll be honest—I didn’t expect us to be here at the start of the season. But now that we are, sorry but I don’t want to hear any of that “oh well, we had a good season considering” rubbish. I’ll be gutted if we lose.

We’ve got the chance to do something special now that we’re here. I expect to see us rip in and send a message so loud the rest of the comp can’t ignore it: The Roosters are coming!

Trent Robinson has finalised his side for the Finals Week 1 clash against the Sharks.

Benaiah Ioelu will start in place of Connor Watson. There are no other changes to the side.

                      Sandon Smith is 18th man.

I won't be gutted and fall into deep depression if we lose.
I'll be disappointed if we don't win, but in reality it's only a game of footy.
Our boys and Club will do their best to win.
All they can do is their best.
Sometimes the other team is just too good on the day ... has all the luck.

This won't be easy at all.....

They will be desperate to shake off their finals choker tag......

We play at our best we should win but the Sharks have been pretty good in recent weeks.

I won't fall into a deep depression BB, but I would be gutted. A mute point though, the lads will give their best and play their best. That will be too much for the Sharks.

Enjoy the game mate. Up the Mighty Roosters!
