    1. teddy and whyte. hard to compare backs and forwards. teddy will deservedly win the jack gibson medal but whyte's been as great as jwh was in 2021. when the going got tough the tough got going. without whyte being tough in the middle we don't make the semis.

    2. hugo. at the start of the season the goal was to still be in the running for the semis when sam came back. a chain is as strong as its weakest link and hugo fixed oiur weakest link

    3. the squad. clearly the boys are happy and it shows and its their commitment to ride the tough times that has us where we are

I don’t think anyone else has been consistent enough to enter the conversation.
Rob Toia comes to mind. He didn't make SOO for no reason.

Forgot to mention, Olivia Kernick has had yet another excellent season.

Yep agree, players like Hugo and Sammy have also been huge but haven’t played the full season. Toups and Toia have also had a great year. And Watson.

for us to go well in the finals we'll need all the forwards to step us as they have over the last 6 weeks. in the backs our potential match winners are teddy, walker and marky. we're well served

Whyte for me - because he really has come from no where to be our new forward leader. And what a hair style.

Then Teddy and the ' Nawa ' man.

                2. Hugo - The perfect foil for Sammy the games most creative playmaker. Savala has added composure and has steadied the ship through his ability to play systematically. Lock him down longterm.

                3. Marky Mark - What an athlete and a try scoring machine. Lethal in the air and has helped transform our right edge on both sides of the ball.
Ditto. Toops has been a rock too.

Toia is excellent defensively but I won’t put him in my top few just because he made origin. He needs to show us more in attack.

Kernick? Really? This is a conversation about NRL.

I agree. But he still doesn’t make my list of our top few.

If you had to reduce the below list of 6 players to 4 and we were playing for our season, who would you omit?

                        1. Teddy
                        2. Whyte
                        3. Mark
                        4. Toops
                        5. Watson
                        6. Hugo

Players 1 to 5 are your "top few"

How embarrassing that Loser Daley and the NSW team management chose to stick their heads in the sand and leave Teddy out (to our great advantage, mind you, which must cause them additional distress). especially when Edwards was not only hopeless, but actively handed the series to Qld with glaring, game losing clangers of mistakes in game 3. A total disaster of a selection - could not possibly have been proven any more wrong. Totally incompetent losers.

Teddy’s omission from rep footy has certainly benefited us.

What a bloody great regular season though. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this team completely exceed my expectations.

Can’t really remember a more enjoyable one.

                                Maybe Todd Carney’s breakout year.

                                Ricky’s 02 Chooks but that’s different.

Either way this reg season has been fun AF.
