The cover D has been exceptional down the right edge when we've needed to jam in. Toia's reads are also very good and he's very quick to smother any potential threats.

He has the ability to size things up in a split second.

Headline at the time stated "Sydney Roosters lock Luke Ricketson calls for an overhaul of the judiciary after being found guilty of striking and banned from playing in the grand final".

LOL - that clout would have got him 12 weeks these days.
ricko's defence wasn't sophisticated - 'we'd made a pact to defend each other if one of us was attacked so i went in.'

for the first time since 2019 we've pretty much got a fully fit squad at the pointy end of the season. with a bit of luck we'll give it a shake

Speaking of "elimination final" who is Manly playing this weekend? lol

Surely they go close to winning it this year with such a strong roster and the worlds best halfback

If the Sharks lose another final to us, and in light of the season they've had, it will be a bona fide disaster for Fitzy.

This is make or break for him.

          It's going to be torrid.

            100%

We're currently rebuilding so all the pressure is on Fitzy.

Cannot lose this weekend if the ref's follow through with the directive to penalise defenders taking out Toops and Mark. It will be a walk over, make that a fy over.

I feel the pressure is on us , there are expectations on us to go deep into the finals . According to Dean Ritchie , he has tipped us to win the comp. Although I must admit he loves a headline and is not a great judge

The only problem with the game is that it’s at a ****ing building site , I have to believe if it was us , that drooling idiot Abdo would have moved the game

Normally I'd be confident of a win, but after the making the Dogs look like a park side, the Sharks will be a tough gig.

The pressure is on them too. If anything, many believe we've overachieved.

Yeah agree they will be tough - especially at home - they have won 7/8 of their last games regardless of where it’s been played - they are in form as much as we are. However in 6/7wins no team was placed higher than 10th when they played them - but they did beat us and they did comfortably beat the dogs last week.

Majority of teams have made the Dogs look like a park side the last 6 weeks.....

I was surprised at how highly Gus rated him.

He's nowhere near ready for 1st grade imo especially when it comes to finals footy.

Sexton lacks creativity in his game however is a solid 1st grade half.
