I don't watch much of the NRLW due to Kids sports etc so who will replace these players out injured ? 1/4 or so of your main side out is hard to replace at short notice when they probably haven't been playing in NRLW.

A tough position to be in so close to the finals.

we've still got players to make us competitive. taneisha gray looked the goods before she got injured. papalii is an origin player who started off in the halves but has switched to lock. if corban baxter is fit then she'd be a very good replacement for aiken.
we still have strengths. our middles have been unreal. pule, butler and lopamaua might be the three form props in the comp. carlile has looked likely and, of course, kernick has been terrific. sergis and kelly in particular are as good as any centres in the comp. kelleher, strange, nasio, davis, naividi and parker are all playing at an elite level.

We are still favorites at $1.80 with the Broncs at $2.10.

Kelleher to half, Baxter to 5/8, Mia Wood to wing if Fressard is out. The real problem is losing Nasio and Butler (TBC) as we are light on backrowers. Grey is certainly a good player and a sound option but not sure who else will join her. Papalii is a goer and can go to the bench or even at half if required but she is short of match fitness. Amber H...... pls get better, we need you.

Nasio is out of the prelim after they accepted her 1 match ban from the end of the Sharks game.

If we lose our first finals game, do we get another bite of the cherry, like NRL set-up?

no. even if we're missing everyone who's in doubt i'd still back us to win the semi but there's no second chance. maybe they should start the comp a week earlier and have a top 5 like the old days

Top 6 is okay but the NRLW competition should have started a week earlier

In week 2 it should be 1 vs 2 with the winner through to the Grand Final in week 4 and the loser to the preliminary final in week 3 to play the winner of the game between the first week of finals winners who play off in week 2.

The Roosters will play the lowest ranked winner from week 1 in week 2.

                Knights ( 3) vs Titans (6)
                Cowboys (4) vs Sharks (5)

I think we could be in trouble if a fully healthy Cowboys team make it through to face us in the prelim.

it wouldn't be a gimme. i'm looking for kelly to stand up. she doesn't want to overplay her hand but she's been an inspiration this year. and, of course, kernick. if the rest of the girls play like they've been playing this year they'll be hard to beat

the club's medical update on didn't say anything about the fitness of the other players injured last week which may or may not mean something.
the nrl's update didn't say anything about hall but did say that butler was dealing with a knee issue but it expected to be back this season

Sharks weren't that crash hot vs cowgirls.
Our forwards will have to be en-garde. Thats where the game will be won.

they were good. got a good spine and a few good players besides. even if we're missing everyone in doubt i'd back us but it won't be a walk in a park.

i'm going down the coast for a week, fletch, without electronic devices so feel free to post the team on tuesday

Have to wait and see the team with a number of players under an injury cloud and unknown if they will be fit to play and or how fit they are if they do play - Tarryn Aiken is out for the season as we know and Aliyah Nasio is suspended for this match

Be a tough match as the Cowboys were expected to win vs Sharks and the Sharks have nothing to lose and the pressure will be on the Roosters as favourites.
