Too true Dolphin...most of us work on a week to week basis or month to month basis...have a few slack weeks or months and you're in the firing line...where as these guys and their managers get rock solid 3-4 year contracts and payouts are the norm if you want to move them on...

2 year contracts should be the max a club should sign...fullstop...

Although I'm furious at SKD's displays in general this year, I hope we keep him and get some one to teach the idiot how to defend his line. He can score a try, and God knows how much we need( and will need) try scorers ( finishers).

Come on.....no no no.

He has played 51 first grade games. He has played for New Zealand. How much more does he need? Plus he can't defend a bomb and is literally the slowest winger in the game. There are many wings out there that can score more tries than him just from speed.

Unfortunately players don't need to think this... they know this. It's a legally binding contract and usually clubs have to pay out huge sums of money just so the player will leave. They usually end up better than if they had seen out their contract as long as they are still young enough to pick up another contract.

Why a bloke like Fitzy who earns every cent of his pay cheque and then some is being let go by the club I will never know. Some times you don't know how good something is until it's gone.
