Been plenty of warranted criticism of Big Lindsay on this site this year. He seemed to lack real intent with the ball in hand for us for what feels like a long time so fair enough.

Last night however wasn’t like that. I thought he had he’s best game for a long time last night. Ran hard and straight and bent the line all night. Glad to see that from him, Spencer and Whyte are firing and now add Lindsay to that list our starting pack is very formidable.

Great game Lindsay keep up the intent!

Has come back strong, and with Spencer playing less minutes, he has become essential to the team.

Spencer only played about 25min last night, was there an injury I missed?

lindsay's been great for a while now. had an injury-affected start to the season but now he's running hard, tackling hard and beating teddy to bombs

The criticism was warranted to with poor form and injury early on was lucky to play SOO
however sense then Collins, Spencer and Angus have all picked up that alpha aggression which we need and why our pack is starting to dominate again

He wouldn’t be the first player to take 18 months to get back to his best after an ACL. He was a shadow of his former self for a while, but has been building nicely over the last month.

When he got sent for HIA I though here we go again, then I saw the replay and laughed it off.

Yeah what was the independent doc seeing that no one else was?

Worked out well for us with Lindsay getting a 15min spell

speaking of odd calls from off the field - why was billy penalised for being offside near the end there close to souths' line. i thought the on field ref had given him the green light and sent it upstairs saying that the canberra bloke was accidentally offside. seems like the video ref didn't have conclusive evidence to say that billy was offside and went with what he incorrectly thought was the on field decision

Lindsay’s form has been one of the key reasons for our late season resurgence. He has been immense for the last couple of months, which seems to have coincided with a massive improvement from Spencer as well. Whyte doesn’t have to do it all himself now. Welcome back Lindsay!

I'll be the first to admit i had him written off at the start of the year as his form the last 18 months was bog average

To his credit, he has turned back the clock and is in career best form atm

Ive been critical of Collins, Spencer and Egan during the year but they have played out of their skin the last 6 weeks.

I think that has been the main factor in our finals surge as well as our steely defense.

I really enjoyed watching Collins last night - loved how he pushed Teddy away after he took the bomb. The way our forwards have all been aiming up in recent weeks should be putting a few other teams on notice going forward (pardon the pun).

It's also worth noting this is the fittest and healthiest we have been since 2018 & 2019.

Marginally in front of Teddy when he kicked it and easily inside the 10m when Souffs knocked on. He then got involved to score. Straightforward.
