They always forget Cheese never played, Sammy for 18 rounds and Dom was also in our starting side last year. NButch played about three games. So actually 11 of our 17 from last year for most of the season.

I reckon they all read the fan forums as some of their opinions feel like they're coming from fans perspective.

Then again on NRL 360 tonight (Wed), Dave Riccio and Bwaif had a ' blue ' over the Roosters performance this year. Riccio reckons we should of finished higher. Everyone has an opinion. Thank god we live in a democracy.

          Up the Roosters.

Riccio is a flog. Uses his time on the show to make hot takes without any substance. Last week he said he predicted us to be in GF

Good on Bwaiff for putting him straight.

Riccio's POV was based on our squad having 5 SOO players and as such, finishing 8th is considered subpar.

Bwaiff reminded him that we lost up to 6 well established players before season kick-off, had no Sammy or Cheese and unearthed a number of academy players.
Dan Ginnane agreed whilst Gordy The Gronk smirked and threw in a few low blows, which is to be expected from the hypocrite.

Riccio couldn’t see logic past his own bias - he appeared so dumb Gordi appeared intelligent.

Eagle eyes Gordi even spotted the photo showing Big Pappas ankle injury was the right foot and the moon boot was on the left!

Gordi is a passenger on the show . He has nothing to contribute and don’t you notice everyone talks over him . Overpaid and overrated

Oh I agree he’s a Buffoon sorry if my comments could be taken any other way - I was using him as a low bar comparison.

To be fair - we did lose ALOT of games that we led with only 20mins to go

Close those ones out and we are easily sitting top 4, if Sam Walker played it might have been a different story.

                        Certainly agree
I bellieve there was around 8 games we probs should have won which would have had comfortably in the top 4
if Walker was available most of these games are most likely won

we've got a good squad. yes, there are some established stars and so it's no surprise on paper that we've made the semis but it was missing sammy for most of the season and our starting 9 for the whole season that has made making the semis special

Even if we go out next week, Robbo has impressed the football community in what he has done in developing a number of unheard-of players into a competitive squad.
Yes he’s done a superb job with these youngsters but the one lingering aspect of our game which seems to be holding us up no matter which roster from a gf appearance and that is our error rate, low completions, penalties and impatience which you can’t afford in finals footy. So a great year but that’s all she wrote IMO. We have to address these problems if we ever want to win another gf.

I fully agree but we need a specialist discipline coach/player? This is same old same old beating ourselves with errors, penalties and dropped balls. Until it’s addressed we are going nowhere.

The balanced view is he’s a great coach but still needs to address our discipline. This is his test as a coach now for years. We just can’t go on with the job or make the gf if we don’t get serious about it. We have a way better roster than Cronulla yet we lost because of stupid errors. It was a final and we kept turning possession over in our own half! Abominable for a finals footy performance. Just unacceptable. The team just doesn’t slowly build momentum and pressure but tries to score off every set.
