No way I'd be letting Sandon leave the club, if he wanted to stay.
I guess with DCE coming, Hugo probably becomes the utility bench player, though I wouldn’t be that surprised if DCE sometime next season comes off the interchange bench.
    EASTS TO WIN!

I'd go with this also, with Penrith resting players this week and perhaps next as well I think we'll see more teams doing this, Roosters will need to win 3/3 to make the grand final and the time from now until week 1 of the finals would be great recovery for them.

Unfortunately I think the Dolphins will beat the Gold Coast.

Sandon add more sparks when covering 9 and I'd prefer him to cover Sam or Savala if any of them go down over Watson

Sandon's had 1 great game (vs Dragons) and 1 good game (vs Storm) and 15 shockers this season playing from his preferred position. How can he be trusted to perform as our bench utility??

Couldnt agree more I count the minutes to 20 when he starts I don’t think we can afford to do this he is a worry but will develop. Connor needs to start and I can’t see why Sandton Smith wouldn’t be an ideal 14 his defence is solid and he adds speed to the side

good luck to sandon and glad he's got his future sorted. he'll need to improve his defence if it's true they want him as a starting 9

Might be playing under Michael Cheika. He's fairly close to Robbo.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

He might not have to , been in the middle you get more help / assistance the being in the halves and outside backs . But yea his tackle count will have to greatly increase which may diminish his attack.

Jeez the knoghts are in a world of hurt at the moment.

1.4 mill apiece for brown and kalyn who plays about half a season , awful recruitment .

I havnt heard other than on here or read anything about Sandon signing with Newcastle but if it true I would bet that he will play halfback.
Newcastle have 2 FG hookers but they don’t have a good halfback & I personally think Sandon will be a good halfback plus he’s a top level goal kicker.
