  • Imagine if he was sacked and joined souths.

    • I liked Vic in his early days but the guy is loose. Nick likely sack him due to all the $ and time put towards the academy. No parent would want Vic hanging around their young kid just out of school as a player or as a coaching staffer.

      • Rads is in deep sh!t

I can see the Roosters coming down harshly on Rads. While Souffs will go lightly on Cheese, and the NRL will allow it.

        • Shame, he is a favourite, I’m assuming if sacked by uncle Nick, a payout wouldn’t be required.

an unfortunate way to free up some cap space, vic hasn’t been the player he was for some years now.

but if uncle Nick goes back on his word, then maybe he can go back on the DCE deal too?

Souths (and no other club) haven’t put a line in the sand for drug use, we have.

Maybe a move to the super league? It is his chosen country now.

This is the problem and the media are going after us because of what Nick said.

                • Victor Radley didn’t take drugs—he took responsibility. If he did receive them, he flushed them. He recognised that seeking them out was a mistake, not in line with the values of a Rooster. From that moment, he made a personal commitment to his teammates and club to educate himself on peer pressure and drug use, determined to turn a misstep into a moment of growth. Since then, he’s committed to educating himself and using his experience to guide younger players and kids coming through the ranks about the dangers of drugs and unsavoury outside influences. He’s turned a moment of weakness into a platform for growth, accountability, and leadership that will only benefit the Roosters and the NRL

Mmmm, well, that's how I hope it goes down

                  • Vic & the Cheese were just joking
No drugs found, no positive drug results.
If Nick tries to sack Victor, Victor will have a case for unfair dismissal.

Nick drew the line in the sand on possession only when he sacked SKD he's got himself in to a pickle with his comments earlier this year

                      • Victor has to go for the good of the academy! He’ll be fine going back to building and getting on the piss with his mates after a days hard work.
I personally don’t care what players do.. I used to love a big night out or ten .. if a players performance suffers, then that is an issue. But for the roosters who have kids in their care at the academy, then this is not what you need. They will make an example out of him.

                        • I’m pretty angry about this. If this is the truth then Radley can piss off, and he is one of my favourite players. There’s no place for illegal behaviour in our club, no matter how prevalent it may be in society.

                          Foketi can play instead.

                          • It's a funny old world when we sign an individual like Lodge whose behaviour was unconscionable and have zero tolerance for lesser stuff. Regardless, it shows no respect for Nick I suppose. Off to blighty Vic. You were fun to watch.

                              Well yeah, there is that.

I'm with you on this one.

How do you go out and play your best footy in an elimination final with this hanging over your head?

                                Farking selfish and most unprofessional!
