Gee I'll be sorry if vic goes, I reckon a 12 week suspension should send a strong enough message , but then that is not what Nick said he would do...frk you vic and Brandon smith for such stupidity and lack of care towards the club ...at ledt use a burner phone

As much as I love Radley it is all his fault (if true)
You can’t blame the police, Radley did it!
I don’t care if everyone does it, it is against the law and reflects poorly on our club.
I hate the victim mentality of our generation, Like when I got done for speeding, my fault not the Police officer who booked me.

In saying that, Rads is being judged by unproven evidence ATM, so don’t like it at all, have to wait and see what comes out in court.

The evidence is circumstantial at best, as what does it actually prove?

As I said in another post, how did the media access these texts?.

Obviously, they were provided to them by the QLD Police as to how else they would be obtained, as the QLD Police subpoenaed Brandon Smith's phone and they can only access these texts through a court-ordered subpoena /warrant.

The only crime so far is who divulged the text messages to media outlets.

You are only proven guilty or associated with a crime in a court of law where the procedural justice/fairness processes have been met without bias or prejudice and not by trial, by the media, or by public opinion.

They all do it. Radley just dumb enough to get caught.
Looks as though the Police were monitoring Smith’s phone so Smith must have been on their radar. Radley is a fool to take on a Nick directive. Can’t see him staying Super League he will be a star

Have to see how the court case pans out for Brandon Smith but the NRL will come down on him like a ton of bricks if found guilty of all charges - Deregistration by the NRL would certainly be on the cards.

The NRL should leave Victor Radley and the Club alone now - 10 match suspension without pay and a 30k Donation to St Vincent’s Hospital (for cancer research).

He only came on their radar after they busted a drug dealer on the Sunshine Coast & went through his phone otherwise we wouldnt be hearing any of this.

My personal opinion is that Radley should go overseas. Does he really want to be news fodder for half of next season? He’s disgraced the club how can he not be shame faced enough to go if he’s really sorry? He’s damaged the roosters brand knowingly thinking arrogantly those texts would never be exposed. By acting against the roosters clear code he has betrayed the club, the fans, the sponsors by assuming being secretive it wouldn’t all come out. It was a calculation not a mistake. A deliberate undermining of club policy. If he’s got even the slightest integrity then he must resign. To stay is like hes saying “it’ll all blow over” . So for every game he’ll sit in the stands while commentators have a ball of a time. And he doesn’t care that the club will go through more angst? Not leaving immediately means to me he couldn’t really care less about anyone but himself.

Radley doesn't need to go anywhere.

Did Brisbane Broncos Sponsors leave on mass or Broncos Members not renew their memberships or season tickets as a result of Mams off field incident which was far worse than anything Radley and Smith have been accused of.?

Of course not - the major sponsor even renewed their sponsorship for another 5 years.

It will blow over soon enough.

Smith has always been a loose cannon and will go down as one of our worst high profile signings.
Robbo was kidding himself thinking that he could "make him a man".

Mmm, one has to agree with this. Yes It will blow over, but our club has standards that the Broncos can only dream of and that goes for their supporters/members too.

So judgemental - what do you think our players opinion is on whether Vic should stay or go? I spent more than a couple of hours with a couple of our players the other day and whilst they were of the opinion it’s not a good look they were both stoked he’s not been pushed out of the club.

“he’s the heart and soul of the playing group” direct quote.

Exactly. The judgement has been handed down. Hopefully everyone at the club learns from this. It's time to move on.

                              Without a doubt.
Victor is the ultimate mans man amongst the team
He's one of them blokes that everyone wants to be around.
He spills blood breaks bones & puts his future life in jeopardy for the Roosters & he would do it for free.

They also said nice things about Dom Young, Brandon Smith, Chad Townsend and Sandon Smith.
